It’s because it’s an OPAL School - which means ‘outdoor play and learning’ is a big priority - and is believed to impact positively on the children’s development. Climbing trees, for example, is said to encourage children to assess their own risk. The goats are called Nico, Nero and Noodle - and roam around freely during breaktime. There’s a few road closures near Roundhay Park, including Princes Avenue, Park Lane and parts of Street Lane. There is some nearby parking if you choose to drive, either book in advance or arrive on the day, but if you don’t book it is first come first served 👀 If you’re heading to the festival site via Leeds city centre, there are shuttle buses from Sovereign Street every 20 minutes. There will also be shuttle buses after the festival is all done to take you back to town, with the last one setting off around 12:30am. Both @Pitbull and @Lewis Capaldi are due onstage at 8:50pm and they’re expected to have finished by 10:30pm… so there’s time to get back to town for your last train home 🤞 Remember, there is no readmission into the festival site - so when you’re in, you’re in! Last entry for both Friday and Saturday’s shows are 8:30pm!
