This school in Leeds has a playground like something out of a children’s book! Alwoodley Primary School has GOATS, a fire pit, a sandpit, swings and more 🫨 They’re even allowed to climb trees and push each other round in prams and trolleys! It’s because it’s an OPAL School - which means ‘outdoor play and learning’ is a big priority - and is believed to impact positively on the children’s development. Climbing trees, for example, is said to encourage children to assess their own risk. The goats are called Nico, Nero and Noodle - and roam around freely during breaktime. This school in Leeds has a playground like something out of a children’s book! Alwoodley Primary School has GOATS, a fire pit, a sandpit, swings and more 🫨 They’re even allowed to climb trees and push each other round in prams and trolleys! It’s because it’s an OPAL School - which means ‘outdoor play and learning’ is a big priority - and is believed to impact positively on the children’s development. Climbing trees, for example, is said to encourage children to assess their own risk. The goats are called Nico, Nero and Noodle - and roam around freely during breaktime. There will also be shuttle buses after the festival is all done to take you back to town, with the last one setting off around 12:30am. Both @Pitbull and @Lewis Capaldi are due onstage at 8:50pm and they’re expected to have finished by 10:30pm… so there’s time to get back to town for your last train home 🤞 Remember, there is no readmission into the festival site - so when you’re in, you’re in! Last entry for both Friday and Saturday’s shows are 8:30pm!
