His love language is definitely acts of service🥹🥲 he heard his baby brother wake up and just went right into caring for him so we could “sleep in.” Kayson’s the one who keeps asking for more siblings lol and always asks to be the one to rock them to sleep, change the diapers, feed them, carry them in the baby carriers, all the parenting things lol. It just comes naturally to him🥲. He always talks about how he’ll be as a husband and dad, and I already know he’s going to be phenomenal at both. God put such a nurturing, loving spirit in him, it’s so beautiful to witness. Avery’s our 8 year old who is still trying to keep all the “second born tendencies” alive and well🤭 but we’re working on that lol. His love language is for sure all about having fun, quality time lol. Which were you growing up? His love language is definitely acts of service🥹🥲 he heard his baby brother wake up and just went right into caring for him so we could “sleep in.” Kayson’s the one who keeps asking for more siblings lol and always asks to be the one to rock them to sleep, change the diapers, feed them, carry them in the baby carriers, all the parenting things lol. It just comes naturally to him🥲. He always talks about how he’ll be as a husband and dad, and I already know he’s going to be phenomenal at both. Then the story of Moses being hidden by his mother for 3 months (Exodus 2), kept safe until God’s timing was right. And then God brought me to Luke 1:20–22, about how Zechariah didn’t have enough faith to believe his wife could conceive. God literally SILENCED him & made him MUTE until their baby (John the Baptist) was born! 🤯 Because God knew he would unintentionally curse his baby in the womb with his doubt, lack of faith & fear. That’s where God made it so clear, as much as I wanted to scream from the rooftops about how He healed me with a pregnancy free from #H#HGwe couldn’t give the enemy a chance to curse my womb, my baby, or my birth with the words of anyone. Even people who mean well, will come against the miracles you’re believing God for without even realizing it. My OBGYN told me I shouldn’t plan a home birth & her literal words were: “you don’t want to worry about who’s gunna take care of your four kids forever because you don’t make it through the birth” Can you imagine?!🤯 So we rebuked all word curses & I stayed hidden—not out of fear, but out of obedience. Because sometimes God hides things to protect them. ​​Mama, trust God’s plan, and if He leads you to keep quiet, know it’s for a purpose. His ways are not our ways & His glory will shine through your testimony. When He leads you to share, it will be so evident of His love and faithfulness in your life, in Jesus’ name! ✨💛

Ya’ll just didn’t know that since I didn’t share the pregnancy at all lol. So people were catastrophically upset about this gift 🤪 but I’ll say the babydoll was the best most used gift all year lol. Plus it prepared him to be such a great big brother🥹🥲 so this is your sign to buy the baby doll. I guess this is what raising future great dads looks like 🥹 And I’m fully in my ✨grandma era✨I love it here!😂🫶🏽

how do you think they did?! 😍 it's giving nostalgic trees from the 90s!! Their tree really brought me so much joy cause it reminded me of my childhood! And made me realize that the aesthetic tree didn't make me happy at all sooo.. bump that lol It's cute and everything, and I'm grateful to do something "cutesy" in a house full of boys lol, but I want them to have memories of their childhood like I did. Lots of colorful lights, handmade ornaments and tinsel so this year this is our compromise lol, and next year we'll probably go full out color! *slightlycringinginside* 😂
How to build a PRIVACY WALL yourself! ⬇️ I contemplated doing this for a couple years & thought it would be too hard of a project for us “beginners” but it was so easy! ✅head to the link in my bio for all the supplies we used Ya’ll know I’m forever a budget queen so when I mapped out how much this full backyard transformation would cost, I knew I wanted to save money on this one here by doing it ourselves. It definitely took some time — 2 days for the posts & 3 days for the panels, with lots of breaks because of we’re raising a whole kids ministry🤭🫶🏽 Here’s all the details I couldn’t fit in this video!⬇️ 🛠️Materials used: 4x4x8 posts 1x6x6 dog ear pickets Deck screws Fast setting concrete Drill & miter saw level 🔸First step is confirming your property line & making sure there are no utility lines where you’ll be digging! (811 is the national call-before-you-dig phone number) 🔸The posts are 8ft tall & we dug our holes 2 ft deep so we can have a 6ft fence but the standard hole recommendation is 2-3 ft deep. The deeper it is the stronger it’ll be against high winds & storms. 🔸We went with 1x6x6 dog ear pickets to get that wide horizontal look I love. They were $2.19 each in 2022, which was one of the most affordable options for us. You can check your local saw mill for other options though! 🔸We used spacers to create gaps between each panel incase the wood expands & to allow wind to blow through the fence to lower the risk of it being knocked over in case of a big storm. 🔸All the wood we used is pressure treated & made to take on outdoor weather. We didn’t stain right away and regret it😭 but we finally did this summer, and the color is GORGEOUS. (stay tuned!) NEXT UP IS THE PATIO! Because God is a God of community. He never intended for us to do life alone. Ever since God brought @angelannlyte into our lives 2 ½ years ago, we always say He sent us a literal ANGEL. She truly lives out the meaning of her name. Throughout the entire pregnancy with Amari, with all the sickness & hardship I endured, she had been here for us every step of the way. Right alongside my parents, she was the only other person we could count on to be there no matter what. Eternally grateful for that😭 Every single week she was at our home, whether helping with the kids, feeding us, having bible study, washing/doing my hair, wiping my tears, holding my hair back when I would vomit, praying with me to get out of the darkness of prenatal depression, and sooo much more. Not because she was getting anything out of it, but purely out of love🥲. I’ve never met someone who loves as deeply as this woman loves, who serves & honors as she does, and is as crazyyyy in LOVE with Jesus as I am lol. She will serve and love on strangers as if they are her own family. Even those the world would deem as “unlovable” or “unworthy” she pours the love of Christ over them, without hesitation. So, when praying about what Amari’s name should be… it was a no-brainer. Amari means “promised by God” and Angel means “messenger of God” Our prayer is that he would always be a messenger of God, leading the lost to Christ.. and also, that he would love, honor, serve and pour into others the same way Angel has. Just really being a full reflection of Jesus🥹.

After that, I would always joke around and say “friends? what friends? I don’t have any of those.” Until a few years ago when God revealed that I had been speaking death & word curses over something my heart truly desired😩… something He desired for me. Because God is a God of community. He never intended for us to do life alone. Ever since God brought @angelannlyte into our lives 2 ½ years ago, we always say He sent us a literal ANGEL. Eternally grateful for that😭 Every single week she was at our home, whether helping with the kids, feeding us, having bible study, washing/doing my hair, wiping my tears, holding my hair back when I would vomit, praying with me to get out of the darkness of prenatal depression, and sooo much more. Not because she was getting anything out of it, but purely out of love🥲. I’ve never met someone who loves as deeply as this woman loves, who serves & honors as she does, and is as crazyyyy in LOVE with Jesus as I am lol. She will serve and love on strangers as if they are her own family. Even those the world would deem as “unlovable” or “unworthy” she pours the love of Christ over them, without hesitation. So, when praying about what Amari’s name should be… it was a no-brainer. Amari means “promised by God” and Angel means “messenger of God” Our prayer is that he would always be a messenger of God, leading the lost to Christ.. and also, that he would love, honor, serve and pour into others the same way Angel has. Just really being a full reflection of Jesus🥹.
You guys saw the intimate recap, but I had to share the real moments in between of how the day really went 🤭 @Cru Alxndr God answered EVERY prayer😭 I asked for: • labor under 2 hrs • both little ones sleeping • not during school hours so our older boys & fam could be there • peaceful, easy, pain-free • no pushing & for baby to slide out on his own • no tearing/stitches …and God did all of it!😭 The doctors wanted me to schedule an induction or c-section since there was “no progress,” but I knew God was writing this story, so we asked Him to start labor before that next appt. So we prayed & made sure I was in a peaceful atmosphere of worship with Sean so my oxytocin would rise & contractions would start. (Mamas, this is KEY. Oxytocin is the same love hormone that gets baby IN there & the same hormone that gets baby OUT… so love on your mannn lol) From there everything happened sooo fast. I praise God for it all 😭 This is my 5th birth, but 3rd home/water birth. If you’re believing for a pain-free, peaceful birth, trust God for it. Don’t just hope… declare it & do the action steps to prepare for it. With my first 2, I didn’t understand what my body was going through when it was contracting, so the unknown turned to fear, which turned into pain. By my 3rd birth, I was believing God for a supernatural, redemptive experience. I watched the pain-free childbirth course from @ painfreebirth (on IG) & it changed everything!! It helped me understand what my body was doing, what it needed, & how God designed birth without pain. I thank God for this resource!! I also read/listened to “Supernatural Childbirth” constantly—shower, bedtime, everything. After a few weeks, there was NO way I could believe a pain-free birth wasn’t possible. I was convinced. Along with the @Christian Hypnobirthing app, it helped silence all the lies the world tells about childbirth!🥲 Those are the tools God used to give us 3 back-to-back fast, pain-free, supernatural birth testimonies. For me, it was 7 months of not being able to eat or drink without vomiting 20-30+ times a day. It’s needing help just to bathe, or even walk around the house. It was weekly hospital visits, IV fluids, iron infusions, relying on medication daily, and constant tears through waves of weakness and depression… the darkness of those years were so, so dark. For seven out of nine months, every single day was survival. Sean went from my husband to my caretaker. There were moments I truly wasn’t sure if I’d make it through. It took a toll on our entire family — physically, emotionally, spiritually. So when we found out about this pregnancy, we immediately went into a spiritual war of fighting off fear from entering our hearts. It was this fragile dance between gratitude that God had entrusted us with life again, and the wonders of “Will my body fail me again? Will I make it through this one? Should I write a goodbye letter to by boys, just-in-case?” But I held onto what God had spoken to me just weeks before… that He had delivered me from that disease. And that promise became my anchor. Today, I stand here strong, whole, and able to testify that God keeps His word. He is still a Healer. A Deliverer. A Miracle Worker.😭 Medical experts told us, “If you’ve had HG once, you’ll have it with every pregnancy” But God has the final say. 🙌🏽😭 I’ve never known pregnancy to beautiful, good, healthy… until now. 👇🏽How I lost 40+ lbs WITHOUT ever stepping foot in a gym. I was a postpartum mom of 5 who loves yummy food, so I needed an easy way to make this work and with 3 babies/toddlers, I just couldn’t get to the gym. I walked on my walking pad every day for at least an hour & aimed for 7k–10k steps minimum. Using a standing desk allowed me to work, answer emails, put my grocery order in, watch sermons & handle daily tasks while moving. It literally felt effortless. 
2️⃣: I used intermittent fasting to help me resist cravings & to give my metabolism less work to do. So I snacked less & easily took in less calories so I was barely ever hungry. Most days my eating window hours were 12pm-8pm, 3pm-9pm, and sometimes 6pm-9pm. 3️⃣: I tried to drink a lot of water, especially BEFORE meals to prevent overeating. 4️⃣: I replaced one meal a day with a meal replacement shake during the week to simplify my routine & stay consistent. I was less strict on weekends, which helped me maintain balance and avoid burnout. (comment SHAKE + I’ll send you the link to the one i’ve been ordering & really LOVE) 5️⃣: I DID NOT STARVE MYSELF OR CUT OUT FOODS I LOVE.
I still ate the meals & desserts I enjoyed. If we had a date at our favorite breakfast buffet on Sunday (@candela_cucina - we’re obsessed🤤) , i made sure monday-saturday i kept to my boundaries & tried to get in more steps. I really never felt restricted. 6️⃣: AND I IMPLEMENTED SIMPLE BUT POWERFUL HABITS.
I focused on high protein meals that helped me stay full longer, reduce cravings & maintain muscle while losing weight. I also tried my best to plan meals ahead, stopped eating when satisfied instead of stuffed, avoided drinking my calories, and showed myself grace instead of quitting on hard days. ✨BONUS: I FASTED + PRAYED Last year I really grew to another level of the spiritual discipline of fasting, not for weightloss purposes but for spiritual breakthrough.
