I brought home a tiny 1.5lbs kitten at the start of May 2025 and now it's January 2026 and he's 11lbs and a whole CHONK OF A CAT. His first birthday isn't until February 14th! Siberian cats are apparently slow to mature and don't reach their full size until 3 years of age. How's your Christmas tree and ornaments holding up to your cats and dogs?
Modern cat furniture that my cats LOVE and that actually ✨ fits my decor and style ✨ too. We moved into our new home back in August, and ever since then, it’s been a goal of mine to make it feel cozy and functional for both us and our pets. If I’m being honest, a big reason we loved this house was because of how well it worked for our animals too, from the large living room to the future catio setup and the main floor room we use as our pet room. So I wanted to share some of my favourite cat furniture and pet pieces in our home so far. A little disclaimer: some of these items I purchased myself, while others were gifted or part of previous collaborations, but all opinions are my own. ✨ Jessie Litter Box Cabinet by @4catsndogs I use this in my living room for extra storage instead of as a litter box cabinet. It has scratcher material on the side, so the cats scratch it instead of our couch. ✨ Vevo Cat Bed by @mau.pets I LOVE this bed. It’s super solid, and I added a heating pad and cozy blankets inside because Olive loves lounging in it. ✨ Cactus Cat Cave by @dharmadogkarmakat Olive loves this little hideout, especially when people are over and she wants her own cozy space up high. ✨ Clifford Bookshelf by @4catsndogs I love that this bookshelf is multifunctional. I use it for books and trinkets, but it’s also one of Olive’s favourite getaway spots. ✨ Ivy 3 Cat Tower by @mau.pets This is Sprout’s domain. He LOVES this thing, and I’m constantly finding him napping here in our living room. ✨ Jewl Nesting Table + Scratcher by @4catsndogs Such a smart piece. It works as a side table, helps redirect scratching from the couch, and gives us extra storage too. ✨ Window Perch by @mewoofun I have these on almost all our windows. They’re super sturdy and such good enrichment for the cats, especially with the bird feeders outside.
