Big life updates here. I recently signed with the Houston Rockets and my wife Maisa and I welcomed our sweet baby girl into our family. While we move to Houston and celebrate this new chapter in our lives, my mind keeps turning to another family with two young children that I met at the end of the season with the Lakers. Brothers Kobe and Kenji are both living with a rare immune disorder and are searching for matching blood stem cell donors. Meeting this family was a reminder that as a parent you’d move heaven and earth to give your children a healthy future - but these boys will need a stranger who is willing to save them. Sharing their story is one small way I can help, but we need more people to step up and swab their cheek to join the @nmdp_org Registry.
