Sunnie Lynn. Here are some my favorite memories of your first year. The first time I ever read Goodnight Moon to you. The first time I ever rocked you to sleep. The first time you recognized ‘You’ve Got a Friend in Me’ and did our signature point. All the times you would snuggle up to Buddy and the first time you called him Bubba. The first time we heard you say mama and dada. The first time you ever tried strawberries( still your favorite food) All the times we would spend on the floor playing with the toy piano, stuffed Nemo(actually every stuffed animal). The first time I ever prayed over you while you slept. All the times your mom and I would sing ‘you are my sunshine’. And the crazy part is… is there is still SO MANY memories to make. But the first year of your life is hands down the best year of mine. You will always be my sunshine. And you’ll always have a best friend in me and momma. Happy Birthday Sunnie Lynn☀️

Woke up this morning with my first ever @lukebryan cut. The amount of memories I made listening to Luke’s music as kid are endless. From deer stand headphones to first truck drives, the first couple of songs I’d learn by the campfire. They were Luke songs. There is so much gratitude in the house this morning. And I love how God continues to be faithful. Thank you to my co-writers @ebachmusic @thejoshthompson for chasing down this idea. I love getting to learn from y’all. Huge s/o to @dirtcrist for being an AMAZING song champion!!! I love how passionate you are about country songs!!!! to the rest my pub team @eclipsemusicgrp @pennygattis @anna.thiell thank you guys for believing in me for such a long time. I am so grateful. And to @kerripedwards and Luke for loving this song from day one. I think my favorite thing about Nashville is how it truly is a village. Writers , producers, publishers, session players,etc, etc. The kid in the last pic has no idea the journey he’s about to go on. And he would do it all over again. Glory to God❤️ love y’all.

Words can’t describe the pain from the loss of my good bud Ronnie Bowman. Truly one of a kind. In Everything. He was the best at telling people ‘I Love You’ and really meaning it. He played a pivotal roll in my songwriting and career early on. I can’t wait for the day I get to hug his neck in heaven and write some more tunes. And hear that sweet sweet ‘I LOVE YOU’ once again.
