After combing through all three of his new albums, we noticed he couldn’t help but leave a trail. No overhead bins, chef-driven dining, and a private-terminal style experience where passengers arrive roughly 30 minutes before departure. From last year’s @collegioauberge opening to the fan-favourite (and 50Best top pick) @fsflorence, there’s no shortage of great hospitality in Italy’s capital of culture. But for the last 18 months, there has been, quite literally, a missing piece in the luxury hotel landscape. Perched atop the hills of Fiesole, with arguably the best view of the city, @belmondvillasanmichele, like most great buildings in Italy, has a history of varied tenants and use-cases. The brainchild of Red Bull Racing’s (@redbullracing) former Chief Technology Officer, Adrian Newey, the RB17 is the first production car from the drink brand’s Advanced Technologies division, and they certainly didn’t hold back. Production isn’t expected to begin until 2027, but the final designs are complete, and if the aesthetics didn’t convince you, the specs certainly will. Inside is a 4.5L Cosworth (@cosworth_official) V10 producing 1,200 hp at, get this, 15,000 rpm. If you’ve always dreamt of getting behind the wheel of a screaming F1 engine, this is your chance.
