Tara Bosch founded SmartSweets from her kitchen table, dropped out of college and sold a majority stake four years later for $360 million. Her next idea came from eating chips with her daughter and getting tired of the same tradeoff every time. She self-funded over $20M to build her own factory and is launching Snackish nationally. This is the story of @snackish.

Snackish is officially on shelves nationwide TODAY! 🥔 You can find your Snackish across the USA 🇺🇸 at @target, & Canada 🇨🇦 (by end of June) at Loblaws and Whole Foods. Here’s to eating chips every day and feeling damn good about it.💛 I always knew Snackish had to be two things: fun & women-led. I’m so proud of every human part of this SnackPack- for everything it took to get here, and for showing that you can be kind, lead with heart, stay true to who you are, all while building something extraordinary. 👯‍♀️ We’re building the everyday snack for a new generation, one we can feel good reaching for every single day. 💫 This is only the beginning.🥔 With love and potatoes, Tara xx

Every morning when Willa & I wake up we say “today is my lucky day because we choose it to be”🍀 that is exactly how it’s felt coming back as a guest dragon on @cbcdragon & experiencing it with her by my side. Yes the harder you work the luckier you get, I’m a true believer in that- but there’s also this intangible magic in life… when you choose to believe your lucky, you start to see the lucky things happening all around you. 💚 watch the second full-circle @cbcdragon episode airing TONIGHT on @cbc 🐉✨

Happy 5th Birthday to the light of my life.💛 Five years of your kind heart, courageous spirit, incredible imagination, & endlessly magical heart whispers. How spectacular you are, the world is so much better because you’re in it.🦄 I’m filled with gratitude every day to get to be your mama. The very first book I ever read to you was Oh, the Places You’ll Go! & it feels so serendipitous that this week the idea you inspired also launches into the world right alongside you. All that you are is simply amazing 💫 Being your mama is life’s greatest adventure. I love you infinitely Willa Johanna✨

Ten years ago, she pitched on our stage. Now she’s coming back as a Champion. That’s right, we’re so excited to announce that @tarabosch will be joining us as a Champion at The Odlum Brown Forum Pitch Finale! This is truly a full-circle moment. Ten years ago, Tara took the stage as a Finalist and was named the inaugural winner of The Odlum Brown Forum Pitch. She then went on to scale her company into the fastest-growing CPG brand ever created by a solo woman entrepreneur. What began as a basement kitchen experiment inspired by a conversation with her grandmother became @smartsweets, the brand that redefined candy for a new generation. After dropping out of college and making deliveries from the back of her car, Tara grew SmartSweets into the #1 low-sugar candy brand in North America. To date, the company has generated over $1 billion in sales and helped consumers kick more than 5.6 billion grams of sugar. And just four years after launch, SmartSweets was acquired for a staggering $360 million by TPG Growth. We’re so excited to have both Tara and Michele joining us as Champions on April 24. Help us celebrate in the comments below! Thank you to our sponsors and partners: Title Sponsor: @odlumbrown Design & Planning Partner: @countdownevents #WomenEntrepreneurs #TheForum #TheOdlumBrownForumPitchFinale #PathToPitch #SocialImpact #WomenInBusiness

Rest easy my sweet boy. Coby was by my side through it all- the broke start-up days building @smartsweets, pulling overnights & falling asleep on my laptop for years, and later becoming Willa’s sidekick and protector. Through every high & low he just wanted to be by his humans side. In true sheltie fashion he was happiest when herding the ocean waves.. How lucky we were to experience his pure love & soul for 13 years. Dogs really are earths angels. 💛
