Coby was by my side through it all- the broke start-up days building @smartsweets, pulling overnights & falling asleep on my laptop for years, and later becoming Willa’s sidekick and protector. Through every high & low he just wanted to be by his humans side. In true sheltie fashion he was happiest when herding the ocean waves.. How lucky we were to experience his pure love & soul for 13 years. Dogs really are earths angels. 💛

The entrepreneurs on the show boldly shared their visions with a courage I never thought I had. I didn’t believe I was capable of acting on an idea, and didn’t allow myself to dream big enough to think one day I could pitch, or that I could do that & then come back as a guest Dragon to show up for others. Now I know the only thing standing between you & your dreams is yourself. give yourself permission to live your most magical life and think big…. then think even bigger. My 12 year old self w a bob cut & glasses who sat on the couch binge-watching every season is absolutely jumping up & down BEAMING. For our 20th season, Dragons’ Den has produced two special “Full Circle” episodes and trust me when I tell you they’re something truly extraordinary. In this two-part special, five new Dragons take theiir seats in the Den. But these aren’t strangers. You’re going to recognize every one of them from their appearances on the show over the years! Jay Klein, Joanna Griffiths, Tara Bosch, Barb Stegemann, and Marc Lefleur all once stood where so many hopeful entrepreneurs have stood, pitching their dreams to the Dragons in the Den. Since then, they’ve gone on to build remarkable businesses and achieve great success. Now, they return as Dragons. Talk about a full circle moment! I was there to hear every one of their oroginal pitches, and each one was memorable not just for their ideas, but for the innovation, drive, and passion behind them. These entrepreneurs are living proof that you can build something extraordinary right here in Canada, and they’re a testament to what this show has done for those who’ve come on, deal or not, and persevered.
