After 40 years of loving Back To The Future, I finally got a photo with Bob Gale! 🙌🏻🕰️⚡️ Every year Back To The Future Day seems to get better than the last. This year I spent it with some of the @back_to_the_future_trilogy cast and crew for a special @imax screening. Beforehand there was even a little reception complete with a 40th anniversary merch preview (I included my favorite items here in the carousel, like the Polly Pocket which I absolutely must track down). To sit in a room with Bob Gale, *the* Marvin Berry (Harry Waters Jr), *the* Goldie Wilson (Donald Fullilove) and many other BTTF legends to watch the original film and hear a full house reacting was magical. Also, Bob Gale was not lying when he told us before the film started “this is the best the movie has ever looked and sounded, ever.” Seeing #BackToTheFuture40 in #IMAX was stunning, crisp, and crystal clear! 🙌🏻 Catch #BTTF40 in theaters for a limited time return beginning October 31st. After 40 years of loving Back To The Future, I finally got a photo with Bob Gale! 🙌🏻🕰️⚡️ Every year Back To The Future Day seems to get better than the last. This year I spent it with some of the @back_to_the_future_trilogy cast and crew for a special @imax screening. Beforehand there was even a little reception complete with a 40th anniversary merch preview (I included my favorite items here in the carousel, like the Polly Pocket which I absolutely must track down). Screaming because my Mighty Crabjoys wish has almost come true! 🎉🙏🏻🎶 For my birthday in September I said I was wishing for a Mighty Crabjoys album. Well at NYCC @mondonews released a limited edition vinyl single. It’s not quite a full album (heck there isn’t even a B side) but it’s a start and I couldn’t be happier to finally have this in my hands! If you don’t know, the Mighty Crabjoys are a fictional band and a DCU constant. They’ve been referenced or heard in Creature Commandos, @superman and Peacemaker now. How I do love a fictional band, especially one as rockin’ as this 🙌🏻🎶 Guess I’ll just have to keep putting some energy out there that @jamesgunn will reach out to @foxyshazam to bring forth more Mighty Crabjoys. Finally found the right desk chair. We are kicking off Practical Magic Summer with a Strawberry Full Moon! The screams were so loud all night every night. I often wondered, how did these fans hear the music over that? But I knew one thing, we were making dreams come true every night on that tour and that’s all that mattered. ✨ Did any of you attend that tour? Tell me your memories! On March 24th, @disneyplus and @hulu will drop a special Hannah Montana 20th anniversary. Coming out from my Yule Hibernation for a big life update! The end of 2025 was a bit rough for me. I dropped my phone in the toilet, I was in a car accident, my purse was stolen and I was loosing what would be half of my hair. Luckily I had insurance to get a new phone. I have fantastic coworkers who have been helping me get places and just a huge support. Replacing my bank card and Drivers License turned out to be easier than expected and even though I was diagnosed with Alopecia my prognosis is really good. I definitely needed this break! Yule brought me some very wonderful presents. I got to spend time with family. There was quite possibly one of the most beautiful snowfall I’ve experienced in a long time. It allowed me to take some awesome photos. My friends @noworrieselena and @chrisxmcelroy came up from LA to visit. They brought their brand new puppy Dorthea! I’ve been missing all my friends terribly from LA so it was fantastic to see them and “walk on water” 🤣🤣🤣. It was their first time on a frozen lake! It was also -1 in those pictures. They thought that was wild. Another day there was beautiful Sun Dogs!! Sun dogs (or parhelia) doesn’t happen often so I was taking pics like crazy 🤣🤣. The cats were just soaking it all in. Another gift was that @netflix made it possible to feel like I was watching @strangerthingstv with my friends in LA. I haven’t cried so hard for so long about a series in a long time. I personally think the last episode was perfection. I also made Pomanders for Yule. I used to make them with my mom who I lost to cancer when I was 16. They are said to clear negative energies and I could really use that right now. The Orange: Represents the sun, good luck, love, fertility, and prosperity. The Cloves: Offer protection, money luck, and enhance the orange’s properties. Fun Facts- once the pomander is dried they can last for months or years and can be used as an air freshener. They even keep bugs away, particularly fruit flies. By the looks of the last couple of days…I might make a few more of these for my apartment! Gotta have good energy for my birthday!! I had the pleasure to attend the media preview on Friday before the doors opened to the public on Saturday, and it was better than I imagined. So much love went into this space and it was extra special for me because I helped open the business that existed here before it, The Federal. Since 2023 I’ve been hearing more and more about the decline in jobs, their AI struggle, and other vital actions places like The Animation Guild are taking to protect their members. Well, Saturday Morning Cartoons United has launched to help answer that call. Through curated events celebrating the legacy of animation, this non-profit will be providing aid to industry members impacted by recent wildfires and ongoing industry challenges. This is where YOU come in. This Saturday, October 11th, SMCU are launching their first event celebrating The Care Bears Movie 40th anniversary, complete with a licensed Care Bears merch pop-up store and two very cool theater ushers: Grumpy Bear & Share Bear. Then when I found out @subaru_usa gives out these badges for free to the car owners….my head exploded 🤯🤯🤯 Nothing like this is free anymore and just thought WOW- what a fun thing to build community within the Subaru fan base! Yeehaw! My film/tv roundup is BACK! 🤠🍿🎬 You probably didn’t even notice that I’ve missed several months of posting my film/tv roundup, but I did! This summer has been action packed and between all the conventions, London, campaigning for the SAG-AFTRA elections (vote for me, LA Local delegate 156 on the ballot!), perimenopause, the return of set work and everything else I completely ran out of steam. So here’s a look back at the films and TV shows that stood out to me over the last few months. FILMS 🍿 The Life of Chuck: A film about life and all it’s multitudes based on a Stephen King novella. If you missed it in theaters, it’s available on digital now. Highly recommend! 🍿 Superman: I went in with little expectation and came out a reborn DCU fan. Ma & Pa Kent and Mr Terrific really sold it for me. Plus gotta love a background actor cameo from @foxyshazam’s frontman Eric Nally. Anyone else catch that? 🍿 KPop Demon Hunters: I don’t even need to explain this one. The honmoon has been sealed. Might be time to head back to the COUCH! COUCH! COUCH! and watch it again 🙌🏻🎶 Honorable Mention: Freakier Friday TV SHOWS 🍿 Doctor Who: The latest season included a whole disability revolution arc to the storyline and months later I’m still thinking about how great it was. 🍿 The Gilded Age: If you loved any of Julian Fellowes other works like Downton Abbey or Gosford Park or Belgravia, this series is for you and this latest season, the plot twists, oh em gee! 😱😍 Can we please get longer seasons?! 🍿 Peacemaker: We’re only two episodes into the new season and I’m on the edge of my seat. @jamesgunn is really bringing it in this beginning phase of the new DCU.
