After 40 years of loving Back To The Future, I finally got a photo with Bob Gale! 🙌🏻🕰️⚡️ Every year Back To The Future Day seems to get better than the last. This year I spent it with some of the @back_to_the_future_trilogy cast and crew for a special @imax screening. Beforehand there was even a little reception complete with a 40th anniversary merch preview (I included my favorite items here in the carousel, like the Polly Pocket which I absolutely must track down). To sit in a room with Bob Gale, *the* Marvin Berry (Harry Waters Jr), *the* Goldie Wilson (Donald Fullilove) and many other BTTF legends to watch the original film and hear a full house reacting was magical. Also, Bob Gale was not lying when he told us before the film started “this is the best the movie has ever looked and sounded, ever.” Seeing #BackToTheFuture40 in #IMAX was stunning, crisp, and crystal clear! 🙌🏻 Catch #BTTF40 in theaters for a limited time return beginning October 31st. After 40 years of loving Back To The Future, I finally got a photo with Bob Gale! 🙌🏻🕰️⚡️ Every year Back To The Future Day seems to get better than the last. This year I spent it with some of the @back_to_the_future_trilogy cast and crew for a special @imax screening. Beforehand there was even a little reception complete with a 40th anniversary merch preview (I included my favorite items here in the carousel, like the Polly Pocket which I absolutely must track down). Strike Captain Chelsea reporting one last time for duty ⬇️ Right before the SAG-AFTRA strike ended in 2023, Warner Bros gave one last punch and tried to delete @coyoteacmemovie as a tax write off (I’m still angry about Batgirl). However, the people had had enough that year. We rallied. We screamed. We kicked our feet. We got LOUD. The result? We won! Coyote vs Acme was saved (thanks in large part to @ketchupentertainment). This save created a paradigm shift in the industry, a ripple effect. There’s been countless other films given an opportunity to get shopped elsewhere and thus saved since then. It also sparked a wave of indie, because how could you do this to your own IP? What would you do with our own IP we want to bring you? But I digress... Last night I produced a creator screening of Coyote vs Acme in @4dxusa. Thank you to @buzzfeed for making this happen. To me it felt like one final action as a 2023 strike captain. The house was full. The energy was electric. Even the creators who were exhausted or skeptical left thrilled they had attended, the film was a hit. On top of that @thecandimilo and @bauzilla joined us to create magic with creators all night. The cherry on top for me? Getting to moderate the Q&A after the screening. What a night! Driving home the weight of the last 3+ years started to melt. Finally I could rest. The strike was very heavy for a lot of us, but it’s moments like this that made it all worth it. Thank you to everyone who came out. Thank you to everyone who spoke up to save this film. Thank you Ketchup Entertainment. Thank you to @regalmovies and 4DX for partnering. Thank you Candi and Eric for going above and beyond to make last night special. Just, thank you. 🥹 FINAL PLEA: If you want to send a message to these giant corporations, go buy a ticket to see Coyote vs Acme this weekend. Power to the people! A chance to celebrate a film that shot in Los Angeles?! Not to mention a film starring some of my faves like @markruffalo @t8dono @chrishemsworth @realdrewpowell and of course Barry Keoghan! Sign me up! 🙌🏻 I love when productions film in Los Angeles. It helps the entire city. Film sets have a financial trickle down effect that’s felt in every industry in the city. Wardrobe departments may use local dry cleaners. Set dressing could involve rentals from numerous companies and even utilize local florists and other such shops. Cast and crew members working allows them disposable income to say go out to eat, helping local restaurants. Let’s keep Hollywood working. The screams were so loud all night every night. I often wondered, how did these fans hear the music over that? But I knew one thing, we were making dreams come true every night on that tour and that’s all that mattered. ✨ Did any of you attend that tour? Tell me your memories! Coming out from my Yule Hibernation for a big life update! The end of 2025 was a bit rough for me. I dropped my phone in the toilet, I was in a car accident, my purse was stolen and I was loosing what would be half of my hair. Luckily I had insurance to get a new phone. I have fantastic coworkers who have been helping me get places and just a huge support. Replacing my bank card and Drivers License turned out to be easier than expected and even though I was diagnosed with Alopecia my prognosis is really good. I definitely needed this break! Yule brought me some very wonderful presents. I got to spend time with family. There was quite possibly one of the most beautiful snowfall I’ve experienced in a long time. It allowed me to take some awesome photos. My friends @noworrieselena and @chrisxmcelroy came up from LA to visit. They brought their brand new puppy Dorthea! I’ve been missing all my friends terribly from LA so it was fantastic to see them and “walk on water” 🤣🤣🤣. It was their first time on a frozen lake! It was also -1 in those pictures. They thought that was wild. Another day there was beautiful Sun Dogs!! Sun dogs (or parhelia) doesn’t happen often so I was taking pics like crazy 🤣🤣. The cats were just soaking it all in. Another gift was that @netflix made it possible to feel like I was watching @strangerthingstv with my friends in LA. I haven’t cried so hard for so long about a series in a long time. I personally think the last episode was perfection. I also made Pomanders for Yule. I used to make them with my mom who I lost to cancer when I was 16. They are said to clear negative energies and I could really use that right now. The Orange: Represents the sun, good luck, love, fertility, and prosperity. The Cloves: Offer protection, money luck, and enhance the orange’s properties. Fun Facts- once the pomander is dried they can last for months or years and can be used as an air freshener. They even keep bugs away, particularly fruit flies. By the looks of the last couple of days…I might make a few more of these for my apartment! Gotta have good energy for my birthday!! Coming out from my Yule Hibernation for a big life update! The end of 2025 was a bit rough for me. I dropped my phone in the toilet, I was in a car accident, my purse was stolen and I was loosing what would be half of my hair. Luckily I had insurance to get a new phone. I have fantastic coworkers who have been helping me get places and just a huge support. Replacing my bank card and Drivers License turned out to be easier than expected and even though I was diagnosed with Alopecia my prognosis is really good. I definitely needed this break! Yule brought me some very wonderful presents. I got to spend time with family. There was quite possibly one of the most beautiful snowfall I’ve experienced in a long time. It allowed me to take some awesome photos. My friends @noworrieselena and @chrisxmcelroy came up from LA to visit. They brought their brand new puppy Dorthea! I’ve been missing all my friends terribly from LA so it was fantastic to see them and “walk on water” 🤣🤣🤣. It was their first time on a frozen lake! It was also -1 in those pictures. They thought that was wild. Another day there was beautiful Sun Dogs!! Sun dogs (or parhelia) doesn’t happen often so I was taking pics like crazy 🤣🤣. The cats were just soaking it all in. January was the first event and we saw Primate before it was released in theaters. This time we celebrated the 20th anniversary of She’s The Man. Yes the rom com with Amanda Bynes and @channingtatum. Y’all the animation industry needs our help. Seriously! Since 2023 I’ve been hearing more and more about the decline in jobs, their AI struggle, and other vital actions places like The Animation Guild are taking to protect their members. Well, Saturday Morning Cartoons United has launched to help answer that call. Through curated events celebrating the legacy of animation, this non-profit will be providing aid to industry members impacted by recent wildfires and ongoing industry challenges. Free Subaru Badges!! So I had no idea this was a thing until recently. I honestly thought this was the coolest thing! Then when I found out @subaru_usa gives out these badges for free to the car owners….my head exploded 🤯🤯🤯 Nothing like this is free anymore and just thought WOW- what a fun thing to build community within the Subaru fan base! Since I’ve found out about these…I have been looking at other Subaru’s to see if they had theirs. I have only seen one other person have them…so that’s why I made the video! The people need to know!! Now what should I name my car? I’ve been told Grogu cuz it’s Grogu green….but I also thought it was a she. Someone said Vi -Vivian for when she’s naughty. What do you guys think? Then when I found out @subaru_usa gives out these badges for free to the car owners….my head exploded 🤯🤯🤯 Nothing like this is free anymore and just thought WOW- what a fun thing to build community within the Subaru fan base! Since I’ve found out about these…I have been looking at other Subaru’s to see if they had theirs. I have only seen one other person have them…so that’s why I made the video! The people need to know!!
