500 days without alcohol… and honestly, I don’t recognise the version of me from before. I didn’t stop drinking for a dramatic reason, I just wanted to feel better. And now I do. The last 5 months especially, I’ve been SMASHING my fitness harder than ever. Consistent gym work, proper training, committing to goals… and it’s changed everything. I feel fit, strong, motivated and genuinely the healthiest I’ve been in a long, long time. HUGE SHOUTOUT to John @golfgains.fitness who’s been setting my workout programs for a long time now! (Defo give him a follow) My energy is better. My sleep is better. My mood is better. And I feel more present, with work, with life, with my family. That alone makes the whole journey worth it. Proud of how far I’ve come, and excited about where I’m headed. And I’ve got to say… Zero beers have been a lifesaver. They’ve given me the social feel of having a drink without undoing all the hard work or slipping back into old habits. Simple thing, but it made the whole journey so much easier and more enjoyable.

And I’d like to think it’s even helped my golf game a bit too (even if the scorecard doesn’t always show it). I’ll admit, for a while I swapped beer for food (standard), but eventually things settled. I’ve found a much better rhythm now, and I’m genuinely proud to have stuck with it for a whole year. There were times I missed it, mainly the social side, but finding decent zero beers has been a total game changer. Still get to enjoy the pint after a round, just without the downsides. This isn’t me telling anyone what to do. It’s just something that’s worked for me, and I wanted to mark the moment. One year alcohol-free 🍻 and who knows where this journey takes me

On this day, 13 years ago, I sat nervously and hit “upload,” and put my very first @youtube video out into the world. No big strategy. No grand ambitions. Just a simple passion for golf and a genuine desire to help people play better and enjoy this beautiful game as much as I do. I could never have imagined how that one small decision would shape the course of my life. Since that day, what started as a few shaky videos filmed in a small golf studio has grown into something far bigger than I could have ever dreamed. I’ve uploaded thousands of videos, built an incredible community of millions of golf lovers around the world, and had experiences that still leave me speechless when I stop and reflect. From standing on the hallowed grounds of St Andrews to teeing it up at Augusta National, from battling to break 75 on brutal courses designed by the greatest in the game to playing alongside some of the biggest names in world golf—it’s been an unbelievable ride. But the true heart of this journey isn’t just the places I’ve been or the things I’ve done—it’s the people. First and foremost, to every single person who has ever watched, liked, shared, or commented on a video—thank you. Whether you found the channel yesterday or have been with me since that very first upload, I’m beyond grateful.
