I’ve learned so much about myself in this new chapter of life. When I first started noticing more wrinkles and thinning hair, I was hit with a wave of sadness. I felt like I had lost some of my spark. The hormonal shifts of perimenopause brought a rollercoaster of emotions, and it was hard to stay grounded. Some days, I’m full of energy and joy. Other days, I find myself bed-rotting, doom-scrolling, and feeling completely disconnected. Eventually, I got tired of feeling that way. I knew I wanted to feel better and that meant doing something about it. So I started listening to my body and giving it the care it really needed.
