I wish someone had told me that parenthood doesn’t always click overnight. It took time for @garylipovetsky to grow into his role as a father, and for me to grow into mine as a mother. I used to believe partnership had to be 50/50 at all times, but now I see it differently. Real marriage is about trusting each other to rise in different seasons. It’s not always equal, but it’s always evolving and that’s the beauty of building a life together. Missing context: I had full time live in help so wasn’t left to do all the work myself.
