@kahukufarms on the North Shore of O'ahu in Hawaiʻi is hiding in plain sight. Tucked on the side of a stunning coastal highway, if you know where to stop, you'll find Kylie and Judah serving up a variety of healthy treats -- acai bowls, smoothies, paninis, you name it. But what makes this place special is they brought the cafe right to the farm. Right on sight you'll find a variety of bountiful tropical fruits to harvest -- from apple bananas to passionfruit to cacao. Kylie and Judah run their business guided by a principal of Aloha Aina, which roughly translates to "Love of the Land." Made in Partnership with Hawai‘i Visitors & Convention Bureau (@hvcb).

Ventura's historic and cultural neighborhood, known as the Avenue, has Mexican restaurants dotted all over the place. And on Taco Tuesday, it's time to see what's cooking. MUNCHIES Hosts @jeffbelzer_realestate and @malachi_gallegos805 start their day with some sunshine and surfing, before heading to taste a variety of Mexican specialties. First stop is Angie's Deli and Mexican Food, which is hiding in the back of a liquor store, where Jeff and Malachi sample al pastor breakfast burritos, chilaquiles, and their first tacos of the day. Next, they head to @eljarochoseafood, which brings its Veracruz style seafood specialties like Baja Fish Tacos and a gargantuan seafood cocktail to Ventura. After that, they head to @lalosmexicanthompson for a bunch of classic tacos, as well as some off cuts, before wrapping the day out at @taqueriatepatitlan where birria, nachos, and mole burritos are on the menu. @sagecreamery on O’ahu in Hawaiʻi uses their locally sourced ingredients to tell the story of the island they call home. They make all types of high-end ice cream; their flavors range from classic vanilla to banana lumpia and adobo ice cream. It’s a labor of love, and also the love story of Zach and Courtney Villanueva, who were high school sweethearts before getting married and starting Sage Creamery in 2020. Their journey followed them from a garage to farmer’s markets to a food truck and now a brick and mortar. The couple sources their ingredients throughout the islands, and in this episode, Zach stops by some of their trusted vendors; @laievanillacompany for fresh vanilla, @diamondheadmarketandgrill for specialty crumbles, and to @chadlouscoffee for coffee. Welcome to La Paz, a beautiful city in Mexico’s Baja California Sur. Our host is the legendary @lalopinoo who grew up in La Paz and is leading us on a day full of eating, drinking, and sailing. Lalo begins with tacos for breakfast at @anzuelomx where he’s gifted some Baja wines from @salud.wineshop. Next, Lalo brings the bottles out to sea and cooks up a few bites on the @maragua.sailing sailboat, full of oysters and guacamole and turquoise waters. After a day at sea, it’s time for some rooftop sunset drinks and snacks, and in La Paz, there’s no better place for that than @azotea_hrp. After that, it’s time for an epic open-fire dinner at @quemadero.mx, and then some local beer at @bermejocasacervecera, Lalo’s favorite taproom in town. Finally, after a quick pitstop for a road beer with the local legend El Killiki, Lalo heads to his own cantina @patiodominguez to cook up some late night specialties before ending the night dancing salsa. What a day in La Paz!!! Made in Collaboration with @golapaz.

What a treat to be able to see Belfast through the eyes of the one and only Iain Ross aka @thug.loaf Welcome to the MUNCHIES Guide to Belfast. Belfast, a city with a legendary history, isn’t considered often for its food. But between soda bread and Irish seafood, it’s time people start paying attention. Iain begins his day at home doing what he does best, making artwork on bread with edible paint… From there, Iain ventures off into the city, starting out at @mamo_patisserie for the city’s best fresh-baked croissants and soda bread. Then, Iain explores @stgeorgesbelfast to try out some local oysters and procure provisions for a wee jaunt toward Cave Hill; think Guinness wheaten bread and Irish cheese. After the hike, Iain heads down to @flout.pizza to test his bread skills by making Flout’s signature sourdough New York style pie. From there, it’s time for some nitro stouts at @sunflowerpub. Instead of Guinness, this public house is known for its delicious pour of Beamish. After a black cab ride that explores the city’s history during The Troubles, Iain heads to @spiritcirclebelfast to test out his palate in an attempt to make a perfectly bespoke cocktail. Finally, Iain finishes his day off at @Nobleholywood to try out the best modern Irish the city has to offer, before heading to the legendary @thegarrickbar for a pour of Guinness, some pub snacks, and some trad music. What a day! Made in Partnership with @tourismireland.

Victoria is the capital of British Columbia, the City of Gardens, and a seaweed harvester’s heaven. Meet our host, Amanda Swinimer @dakinitidalwilds, also known as the Mermaid of the Pacific. She free dives for wild seaweed off the coast of Victoria and sells her harvests to some of the best breweries, distilleries, and restaurants in town. On our first episode of MUNCHIES Guide to Victoria, Amanda starts it off where she’s most comfortable: in Victoria’s clear blue waters. After harvesting wild seaweed, she makes her way to Sheringham Distillery @sheringhamdistillery, a gin distiller who uses Amanda’s seaweed to make their flagship award-winning Seaside Gin. Amanda keeps the day going strong at Whistle Buoy Brewing Company @whistlebuoybrewing where her seaweed is used to make a specialty neon green-blue beer. Finally, Amanda heads to LURE Restaurant and Bar @lurevictoria to make some kelp-infused fish and chips and enjoy dinner full of scallops, salmon and other seafood. Made in Partnership with Destination Greater Victoria.

@andriasseafoodrestaurant is right on the harbor in Ventura, California, and it's been there for more than 40 years. Serving up fish and chips, french fries, clam chowder, and all sorts of other seafood specialties, Andria's Seafood is an institution. Started by Michael Wagner, Andria's father, this restaurant has been a staple in the community for decades. The restaurant uses angel shark as their most popular fish in their fish and chips. Of course they offer halibut and cod too, but their shark is surprisingly good eating; it's mild and flaky. Over the course of this video, you'll get a sense of how this old school restaurant keeps it old school. Made in partnership with @visitventura.

No one said running a floating restaurant in the middle of the Caribbean ocean would be easy. We go down to the U.S. Virgin Islands for our new series "Eating Out" to see the logistics behind running a restaurant with no running water, electricity, or connection to land. "Eating Out" is exploring the fringes of the restaurant world. This is the opposite of the comfortable home kitchen or the convenient local community diner. We go to locations where serving food seems like an impossible task. If humans can go there, then someone has to figure out how to feed them. We will be there to tell you how these adventurous chefs pull off eating out in the most challenging areas of the world. Check out Ep1 featuring @limeoutvi at the @VICE link in bio.

La Parrilla Yucatan Mexican Food (@laparrillayucatan) is a restaurant in sunny Ventura, CA that serves up traditional food from the Mexican state of Yucatán. Run by the hardworking Lopez family, La Parrilla specializes in dishes like cochinita pibil, birria, carne asada, seafood molcajetes, and flan. The story of this restaurant traces back to a small town in Mexico, where Victor and Delfina Lopez are from. Victor’s mom sold panuchos on the street, which is where Victor learned his uncompromising work ethic. Victor began selling hot dogs at a food cart of his own, and It is at that food cart where Victor fell in love with Deflina in a beautiful story of love at first sight.
