The top seeded Montverde Academy girls beach volleyball team won the 2025 Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) Class 1A District 7 championship on Wednesday afternoon at the Beach Volleyball Complex on campus. The Eagles beat Windermere Prep 3-0 in the semifinal round before defeating The First Academy by the same score to claim the district title. This is the Eagles' third district championship in the last four years. Montverde Academy is now 13-1 overall this season and the Eagles have earned an automatic qualifier into the FHSAA regional tournament starting on Tuesday, April 29.
