MARATHON 7 OF 7 ✅ NORTH AMERICA! Today, I completed the Great World Race. I will never forget this experience and the other 60 racers bold enough to sign up for this wild journey, who were some of the most fascinating and inspiring people I’ve ever encountered. And despite everyone’s unique backgrounds, the commonality was attitude. The willingness to be vulnerable in the pain cave — but approach each moment with determination and joy to move forward. I grew so much from their generous example, every single day. And I can’t wait for you to meet them in our longform episode, which is probably one of the most insane things our team has ever captured. Til then, I never want to forget the greatest lesson I learned: There is ALWAYS more to give. What a privilege it is to be challenged. ⭐️

MARATHON 1 OF 7 ✅ Last night we got an email that the entire race plan changed. Due to unsafe conditions in Antarctica, we started The Great World Race in Africa instead! Thank you so much to everyone from the Challenge Accepted community who came out to support, and to sweet Phoebe who stayed the entire race 😭. We are literally en route to Antarctica now to race our next marathon at MIDNIGHT 🥶. I’m honestly freaking out!!!! Full Africa recap coming tomorrow!

MARATHON 1 OF 7 ✅ Last night we got an email that the entire race plan changed. Due to unsafe conditions in Antarctica, we started The Great World Race in Africa instead! Thank you so much to everyone from the Challenge Accepted community who came out to support, and to sweet Phoebe who stayed the entire race 😭. We are literally en route to Antarctica now to race our next marathon at MIDNIGHT 🥶. I’m honestly freaking out!!!! Full Africa recap coming tomorrow!

Two marathons in 24 hours, no sleep. -20*C with windchill, threat of frostbite and snow blindness, and an unforgiving layer of snow that zapped the power of every step. My tears froze to my face, my skin went numb, I questioned everything. This was the closest to “Sisyphus” I’ve felt. It just wouldn’t end. But here’s what I learned: I’m very privileged to get to challenge myself in many ways over and over again and to grow in the process. It’s simple for me to find beauty in the finish line, the completion of the journey, even when I fail. But I’ve always struggled finding the beauty in the suck. The temporary pain. The things outside my control that get in the way. So for the next 5 marathons I’m going to figure out how to find that meditation — team, hold me accountable that I do 🙂 Headed to the Australia start line now.
