The King of Petty has officially reclaimed his throne, teaming up with DoorDash to take shade to a new level just days before the Super Bowl.

50 Cent uses the "Big Beef" campaign to take aim at his rivals, specifically Diddy, who is currently roughly four months into a 50-month sentence at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey, using everything from cheese puffs to combs to prove he never lets go of a grudge.

It’s a hilarious reminder that when it comes to long-term feuds, you should never try to outdo Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson.

Amidst a struggling economy, government shutdown, and uncertain SNAP benefits, TikTok has become an unexpected hub for mutual aid, with users setting up pop-up food pantries to feed their communities.

One of the most viral examples of these DIY food pantries came from AJ Owen (@ ajpgh412). In a teary TikTok, Owen describes how his front-yard food pantry has helped countless people, before revealing that an anonymous donor dropped off an envelope stuffed with cash.

Across TikTok and other platforms, similar pop-up pantries are multiplying — digital proof that grassroots generosity can spread as quickly as any viral trend.

Ariana Grande is clearly logged on because she, like everyone else online these days, had a visceral reaction to the numbers six and seven.

The pop star and Wicked: For Good lead filmed a Variety Actors on Actors conversation with Adam Sandler that recently dropped. A 6-7 meme-fueled moment from that talk has quickly gone viral because it's super relatable.

Sandler might be unaware of what he did when he mentioned the two numbers, but it's clear Grande knew exactly how the public would respond. And in that moment, one of the world's biggest stars was just like us.

Worried that Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 7 can't withstand a lot of folding and unfolding? A Korean YouTuber is here to alleviate those fears — or make them worse, depending on how his experiment ends.

The tech-it YouTube channel is currently running a stream in which one of the hosts aims to fold the Galaxy Z Fold 7 200,000 times to see how it holds up. One would imagine that performing this would be easier using specialized equipment, but the streamer in the video is actually manually folding and unfolding the phone, which is...impressive?

A caption on top of the video stream claims that the feat is performed manually to make the experiment "similar to the actual usage environment." Our wrists hurt just looking at it, though.

There are some stories the internet collectively decides to care about.

This week, it’s a little monkey named Punch.

Punch — or more colloquially, Punch-kun — is a baby macaque at Ichikawa City Zoo in Chiba, Japan, near Tokyo. Born in July 2025, he was rejected by his mother shortly after birth. In the wild, that would have meant certain death. At the zoo, where Punch was raised through hand-rearing, it meant something else: survival, and a substitute for the one thing zookeepers couldn’t provide.

A plush toy.

In photos and videos that have now spread across X and Instagram, Punch rarely lets go of his stuffed orangutan doll. He clings to it while he sleeps. He carries it on his back. When he’s frightened or overwhelmed, he presses his face into it, as if trying to disappear. Unfortunately, the other monkeys in the enclosure haven’t taken to Punch as warmly as the internet has, though he is making some strides.

And his popularity in Japan is only growing, as hundreds of visitors flock to Ichikawa City for a glimpse of Punch and his stuffed orangutan (aka Oran Mama).

Is it real? Is it AI? Who knows. All we know is that without his signature goatee and frosty highlights, Guy looks more like an insurance salesman than a rockstar chef.

Let’s just hope he returns to his signature spiky self once the game is over.

You've been warned.

Episode 5 is an extended flashback, trading Boy Kavalier's (Samuel Blenkin) Neverland research facility for the USCSS Maginot in the lead-up to its crash landing on Earth.

Alien: Earth has already hinted at what happened to the crew of the Maginot in their final hours. They also caught a glimpse of one crew member on a medical table with his chest cut open and signs of alien bodies in his GI tract.

Basically, whatever happened to them, it wasn't good! But it also wasn't enough to raise our queasiness levels to alarming rates.

Still, seeing the corpses is one thing. Seeing the horrors on the Maginot actually play out is a totally different story — one that left us shunning our snacks and even our trusty water bottle for some time after watching. No spoilers, but it is predictably grisly! Nauseating, even.

In a live music landscape often dominated by inflated ticket prices and impersonal stadium shows, The All-American Rejects are flipping the script.

The band recently kicked off a “house party” tour, and it’s exactly what it sounds like. Instead of arenas or overpriced amphitheaters, the band is offering fans a chance to host a literal house party with a live, pop-up performance from the band themselves. A handful of shows have already happened across the Midwest, and it seems like there’s more to come.

The “house party” concept leans heavily into nostalgia, which is a smart play for a band whose early 2000s singles “Dirty Little Secret” and “Move Along” helped define an era of pop-punk adolescence for millennials.

And the best part? The shows are insanely cheap. NO dynamic pricing or Ticketmaster fees here. The band’s message — part middle finger to concert bloat, part love letter to fans — has really struck a nerve with music lovers across the internet.

If you want to host one of these house parties, you can apply through the link in the band’s Instagram bio. Just be sure to send us an invite if it works out 😉

There's a new addition to the Alien universe and for the first time, it's in the form of a TV series. Alien: Earth premieres Aug. 12, nearly a year to the day after Alien: Romulus, the latest film in the Alien franchise, hit theaters.
There are seven films in the classic Alien franchise, including the newest release, Alien: Romulus.

There are also two crossover films to add to your binge if you really want to complete the saga, although no one will blame you if you skip AVP: Alien vs. Predator (2004) and Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem (2007). Then, of course, the new FX series Alien: Earth adds a new layer of lore into the mix.
Like any good franchise, the official release order of the films and new series differs from the actual narrative. The order you watch them is completely up to you.

If you're more into the timeline jumps and lore of it all, you'll probably want to watch in chronological order. Though it's the newest film in the franchise, Romulus takes place somewhere in the 57-year gap between Alien and Aliens. And the new series is basically a prequel to the original Alien, set two years before.

Swipe through to see the ultimate watch order for the Alien franchise just in time for next week’s Alien: Earth premiere.

The Roman Catholic Church elected its new pope on Thursday, with the conclave selecting American Cardinal Robert Prevost, henceforth known as Pope Leo XIV. Not only is he American, but he’s from Chicago specifically. Midwesters are loving it, and Twitter is full of Chicago-style memes to celebrate.

The memes encompass every aspect of Chicago lore, from Jordan jokes to ’The Bear.’ One of the first things cleared up was whether he was a Cubs fan or a Sox fan (it’s White Sox, for anyone interested), and the Chicago Sun-Times went so far as to dig up a picture of the Pope at the 2005 Sox vs. Astros World Series game.

Now the real question is, does he prefer deep dish or Roman pizza?

If you want to post mac’n cheese on TikTok, your skin better be as thick as your casserole dish.

That’s what Tineke “Tini” Younger learned in 2023 when she shared a three-minute video of her roux-soaked mac recipe. While the video went viral – today it has 101 million views and 9.6 million likes – the comments came in hot as smoked paprika. Some users called the recipe overhyped, and others accused Tini of cultural appropriation.

In an interview for The Mashable 101 – our list of genre-breaking content creators, influencers, and culture shapers – Tini tells us “That recipe took me four years to perfect…”

“If you go on my TikTok, and if you go all the way down to like 2021 and 2022, I’m making different variations of that mac ‘n cheese. I’m experimenting and [asking my then-boyfriend] Antoine, ‘Is this the best mac ‘n cheese you’ve ever had?’ And he’s like, ‘not yet.’”

She worked on the recipe until she got “Antoine’s approval” as the best mac ‘n cheese he’d ever had — creamy, cheesy, not too powerful, not too seasoned. She said having Antoine as her taste-tester is key.

“I can’t get better if I don’t get honest feedback.”

Feedback came in droves after the video spiked. But life has thrown Tini plenty. She confronted a learning disability as a teenager, discovered a love of food while failing high school, and even thrived as a co-host on Gordon Ramsay’s YouTube channel. You may not know it, but through challenges, this content creator keeps cooking forward.

Head to Mashable.com to learn about Tini’s journey in and out of the kitchen, what Gordon Ramsey smells like, and why we’d likely fail her mac ‘n cheese recipe. You probably would, too.
