I’ve had a bit of time to reflect on last Sunday. So many emotions running through my mind but at that particular moment everything was calm and I felt peace. I almost can’t explain it. This has without a doubt been my toughest year yet. It’s felt like we’ve been fighting battle after battle. There’s so much one can carry that the internet won’t see. Sunday was a reminder of my birth name ‘Emmanuel’ meaning God with us. I can say that even though things have been tough, he’s been with us. I’m sharing this to encourage anyone who feels lost or is going through a tough time right now. You’re not done and God isn’t done with you yet. Keep going❤️

I can’t believe I’m writing this already. Happy 4th birthday to my firstborn. The boy that changed my life for the better. The little guy that lights up whatever space he goes into. It’s scary how time has flown, moments that felt like weeks ago, are now years ago🥹. To say God has blessed us with someone special is an understatement. I pray for many more years to watch you grow in good health and character. I love you more than words can express. Your life in itself is a miracle and your glow and energy shows that. You’re an amazing big brother, it’s incredible to see how you are with Makaio and how much he already looks up to you😌. I already know that you’re destined for greatness, who knows maybe the song was because of you🤣. Anyway all of this to say, I love you and can’t wait to see how the rest of this journey goes. My BOY Malachi🤩❤️❤️

A major moment for me. This weekend I got baptised for real. A conscious decision that I made for myself. I’m so glad I had my family and friends present to witness it. A beautiful moment. A public declaration of my faith in Jesus Christ. I hope this inspires someone out there that has been thinking of whether or not to take this step. I’m excited for what the future holds and I pray that God continues to guide me❤️

Life appreciation post. I’m seeing so many people I know losing loved ones. People that I know sadly passing. Still life is passing by at 100mph. It feels like I’ve hit a stage where life is really feeling scarily real. Death doesn’t discriminate. I think we had many reminders last year that it can happen to literally anyone at any time. My kids are growing so quickly I’m wondering where the years are going. I still remember their births like it was just last week. With all this I’m trying to be as present in each moment as I can be. It’s good to work, it’s good to make a living but it’s also super important to appreciate each day. Being a parent isn’t easy at all but I’d like to remind my fellow parents that we’re blessed to experience this. Sometimes we can get stressed when our kids play up, they don’t want to eat, don’t want to sleep or just won’t stop talking. Even with that again some people are praying for a noisy home or for their child to utter even a word. I guess what I’m trying to say is I’ve had a reminder to be grateful for each day, each moment and each blessing. Really we are just lucky to be here. I don’t know who might need this right now but if you see this I hope it helps. God bless❤️
