I asked @sake.asu to bring out the aces on his @crocsmltt teammates, and the world’s fastest server did not disappoint! Asuka Sakai is the Guiness World Record holder from 2011 for the World’s Fastest Table Tennis Serve, recording a unique serve off the back of the racket which blitzes the table at a speed of 15 meters per second! That means it covers the length of the table in a lightning fast 0.18 of a second! @majorleaguetabletennis

@sake.asu could not be stopped this time! Even as a left hander covering that corner with my racket RIGHT there, one blink and it was all over. On top of the insane speed, there is also over 8000rpm of spin on the ball with top-sidespin. You can say ‘just put your racket there’, but standing at the other end of the table you are at the mercy of a bullet, and your body’s first instinct is to flinch 😹🤙🏓 I continue to be amazed. Thanks to Asuka for being open to sharing this with people! 🙏🥳 @majorleaguetabletennis @crocsmltt
