Training for my first half marathon in Australian heat, on hills that feel never-ending, has been… humbling. Some runs feel strong. Others feel like I’m negotiating with myself the entire way up. It’s a lot on the body. And sometimes it’s a lot on the mind too. I’m learning that progress doesn’t always feel powerful. Sometimes it feels sweaty, wobbly and slightly dramatic. Sometimes it feels like you’re going backwards when really, you’re just building capacity. So if you’re in the messy middle of something — a goal, a new routine, a comeback — this is your reminder that showing up counts. Even when it’s not pretty. Even when it’s hard. 💛💛💛
