This weekend we cheered on the last performance from the GOAT @nschurter 🐐 It was an honor to be a part of @scottmtbracing with you and have a front row seat to some of the most incredible, historic rides our sport has ever seen. Truly some of the best memories of my life and career. It is incomprehensible that you finished this phase of your career with 10 world titles, 36 World Cup wins and five Olympic Games with three medals - all with the same coach and team. Thank you for bringing so many people to our sport with your fierce racing and deep joy for a life on two wheels. You inspire us all to dream bigger, push harder and remember that the gift is in the experience and the people you share it with. Cheers to the next chapter 🥂 p.s. please enjoy this nice throwback photo of Nino teaching me to do wheelies 😅 the whip practice went a little better…

No quest is complete without a side quest. First road race since I was 16 had me feeling like a junior again in all the best ways 🚀 This move did not stick, but it was so much fun to try. And isn’t that the point? Congrats on the win @lisabone_ and thanks to all the rad ladies who made this a fun and fast day! p.s. notice anything? 👀
It’s the climb… This unhinged 20 minute portage section came at the end of an hour long climb. It was the hardest moment in the race - but also the most special. Supporters walked hours to be there. Amateur racers moved aside and cheered me on. A man ran almost the entire length of the climb in front of me saying “you can do it, good job” over and over again. It’s the struggle to rise that makes our fleeting moments on top so special. 🌈 Thank you @ariane.luthi for this video and for the final cheers to make it over the top. To be clear, this is me at a full sprint 😅

It’s the climb… This unhinged 20 minute portage section came at the end of an hour long climb. It was the hardest moment in the race - but also the most special. Supporters walked hours to be there. Amateur racers moved aside and cheered me on. A man ran almost the entire length of the climb in front of me saying “you can do it, good job” over and over again. It’s the struggle to rise that makes our fleeting moments on top so special. 🌈 Thank you @ariane.luthi for this video and for the final cheers to make it over the top. To be clear, this is me at a full sprint 😅

Didn’t quite stick the landing on staying there mentally or physically - but it was a good step and I’m proud of that ride and fight. Thank you to the team around me for continuing to point out all of the positive progress and the little wins. What a life you lived Monte 💔 We said goodbye to our sweet guy on thanksgiving day. Maybe that was his way of reminding us to be grateful for such an unconditional love and uncontainable joy. Monte greeted each moment like his favorite people had just walked through the door. He loved to run and to swim just as much as he loved to savor slow mornings and basking in sunshine. He loved chicken and cheese and parading toys around the house. Most of all, he just really loved us. Heartbroken to say the least but that’s the cost of loving big. Dogs teach us that. They hold nothing back - and oh how we love them for it.
