Because Midtown has a cotton ball palace. Because you never know who you'll meet when you list 24 unopened vibrators on Facebook. Because our neighbors are willing to stand up to ICE. Because, even now, it’s still the best place to become an artist. And because photographer @SubwayHands (@hannahlafolletteryan) noticed more and more people reverting to and sharing wired headphones on public transit, we asked our cover stars to share them too, a bud in each ear.
