lately, it’s been super tricky to tell what’s made with AI and what’s real life. i even stumbled upon a creator and found out they were completely AI-generated after scrolling for a few minutes. i was shocked. i don’t hate AI though. i use it to supplement the annoying time consuming tasks or to build tools for me, but i would never want to miss the fun of handwriting a score with ink and dip pen by virtually generating it. so remember, every time you see one of these, it was me, myself, and I, doing all the writing, filming, and editing… not some AI slop. #asmr #asmrsound #musician #composition #macro

I graduated top of my class in college. Classical piano gave me the fundamentals, the discipline, and the tools, but not the outlet I wanted. I had no idea what to do after I graduated. I’ve always pushed myself to be the best, but I knew I didn’t want to spend my life repeating other musicians’ ideas… I wanted to share my own. So I went back to my childhood, when I used to make short films with my friends and edit soundtracks to make them sound epic. It was freaking awesome. I tried writing my first score for a YouTube video and I felt that same joy right away. That’s when began this ride that’s taken 10 wild years so far. Grateful for giving myself permission to (kind of) start over and for the value education and mentorship have added. A lot of people say you don’t need to go to school for this, but personally I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for both my mentors and my hard work outside academia. I never could’ve imagined that betting on myself would end up impacting so many people.
