Jack turned 18 last week on the first day of the salmon window. This kid has so many true passions but fishing is definitely top of the list so it was an auspicious start to his adulthood. We have a lot of different emotions about him growing up but mostly gratitude, joy and love. Keep workin’ Jack!

This is my slick resume I used to pitch sponsors for the 1994/95 Freestyle World Cup season. The data and photos are from the 1993/94 season. That was my first year on the Freestyle World Cup and the 1994 Olympic year. Although I was the Rookie of the Year I did not make the Olympic team. I was pissed and resolved to do better than the guys who beat me for the spots. It was the best thing that ever happened. Stay pissed rookies. Dug this up looking for something for a series I’m doing on the future champs for @nbcbayarea
