I took the opportunity to approach Kobe in the shoot around ( notice the camera behind me ) I stayed in character and told him I wanted to sign him and he would make Denzel look like Carat Top. He told me that he didn’t think he had the charisma to hold the frame. He did all of this while draining threes and being wildly charismatic. What a second act that guy would’ve had… He was insanely curious and a master simultaneously . unfortunately that little improvise scene never made it into the episode yet It was gold. Today is Joyce Piven’s birthday and i’m so grateful for her life . We buried her next to my dad Byrne .A true artist in every sense of the word . A real gypsy yet practical enough to be an incredible mother. I’m telling you that’s rare. Grief is no joke ( as i’m on the road doing comedy shows ) Hard to wrap my mind around not seeing her , Sharing a laugh , running lines… She’s had my back when no one did . There’s no love like a mothers love. Miss you with all my soul mom

Thank you rock ‘n’ roll Hall of Fame for an incredible day. I’ve been such a tourist here in Cleveland all day even got to sit behind the kit with some great musicians. The third picture is the actual guitar that the great Eddie Van Halen played one of my absolute heroes growing up. what a beautiful day I’ll see you guys Thursday night at The Agora Theatre ! @agoracle @rockhall

We are lucky to have these souls in our lives. I’ve grown to learn the miracle of tears as they are a blessing and they hold energy. I don’t care if none of this makes sense. It’s a tough day and I’m doing the best I can. We have a finite amount of time here in this human form and she was an incredible mother and teacher, not just to me but too many people in the community.Mother’s Day was always kind of a joke to me because I’ve always felt that every day was Mother’s Day. I’m incredibly grateful for her and all you mothers out there ,we love and celebrate you.
