Finally fitted on the Seka after 4,000km of trying to self-fit myself 👀 This is fit number 5 for 4 years and it felt the most thorough even if the position required somewhat minimal changes and was already pretty decent. I always learn something new about my body and how I interact with the bike, but it’s a process- one that keeps changing and evolving over time. 3 up for a cheeky 200km on the other side of town 🫱🏻‍🫲🏼 The 5am wake up on a Sunday for a 6am roll out felt rough but was a great idea given how empty London’s streets were as we had to cross the whole city. Shake out ride to Passo Gardena | What I wish was a 1.5 hour ride I could do here in London before/after work 😭 35km, 10km climb, just under 1000m elev. can hardly see a better way to spend a bit over an hour on the bike when the time is tight. Girona’s iconic loop- Rocacorba and Mare de deu Del Mont, 140km, 2600m 👌🏻 Did it with some company this year. Posted some PBs first on Rocacorba then enjoyed the views (somewhat) on del Mont. All in all 28km of climbing across the two makes for a solid outing. I have never been a fan of such distances but doing so with mates makes it special (and bearable) despite feeling quite rough for at least 1/3 of the time. Vol. 1/3: SYN London Coastal Audax- 330km, 3600m elevation. A day to remember as we set off to explore the UK south coast line with @thesyn.cc which saw most of the group registering their longest ride ever 👏🏻 It was a gorgeous, but at times brutal effort, rolling through 73 hills total which we completed in just under 12 hours. As we expected rain all day we settled for a shorter loop yet it turned out so gorgeous and completely dry and hot 🥵 The steep and quiet Furkelpass definitely did it for me! Summer Solstice- London>Portsmouth> IOW lap ✌🏻 Always a pleasure riding the island! Best year on the bike so far, 2025 ❤️Besides registering the most kms ridden, elevation climbed etc. it was also a year I added 3 new destinations, took my bike with me on every trip and met way too many amazing people on the bike! From @thesyn.community Dolomites summit, to crashing group rides in South Africa, climbing snowy roads in Sierra Nevada and lads trips in Girona- it had it all!
