Worth the hype? 🤔 What place should we rate next? 🌍 Follow us @HudsonAndEmily as we rate every place in the world worth visiting! 😉 🗺️ This is part of our series "SKIP OR TRIP" - comment MAP for the full list, and let us know what place you want us to rate! 📍Lençóis Maranhenses National Park, Brazil 🥇Trip-ability Score = A Tier ✅ Pros: If we are ranking on pure beauty, Lençóis Maranhenses easily takes S-tier. It legitimately feels like stepping onto another planet. You have thousands of crystal-clear, freshwater lagoons, naturally filtered through pure quartz, nestled perfectly between rolling white sand dunes. Not only is it visually unreal, especially where the stark white dunes crash right into the lush treeline, but the water is incredibly warm and perfect for swimming. Photos don't do justice to how massive this place is. It's over 380,000 acres!! 😱 ❌ Cons: The reason it is A tier is because the journey isn't for every traveler. You have to take multiple flights, then a long drive and a bumpy 4x4 jeep ride. Also the time of year you visit matters a lot. The lagoons dry up completely if you visit during the wrong months. Remember to plan ahead. There is very little shade and the midday sun can get extremely hot. 💡Travel Tips: 📅 Timing is everything for Lençóis Maranhenses, so plan your visit between June and August when the rain-fed lagoons are at their fullest. 🚙 You can't drive yourself into the park, so you'll need to ook a group tour from the town of Barreirinhas starting around $45 to $60 (or Santo Amaro). Even still it is at the top of our bucket list to visit! 😍 🌅For the best experience, book an afternoon tour to catch the dramatic golden hour shadows. If your budget allows, take a scenic flight to truly grasp the massive scale of the dunes. 🎥 Stitched Video Credit: Check out @mikelboisset page. Is it worth the hype? 😱😍 What place should we rate next? 🌍 Follow us @HudsonAndEmily as we rate every place in the world worth visiting! 😉 🗺️ This is part of our series "SKIP OR TRIP" - comment MAP for the full list, and let us know what place you want us to rate! 📍Uyuni Salt Flats, Bolivia (Spanish: Salar de Uyuni) 🥇Trip-ability Score = A Tier ✅ Pros: What makes the salt flats A tier - It's unlike any other place in the world! During the rainy season the entire ground is transformed into a giant natural mirror! There are other salt flats but this is the world's largest, stretching over 4,000 square miles. Out of the 194 countries we've visited this is the most beautiful sunset we've ever seen! It is a truly feels like walking on another planet. ❌ Cons: Why this isn't an S Tier - Getting there isn't easy! It requires multiple flights or a 10 hour bus ride from the La Paz. The extreme elevation sits at almost 12,000 feet above sea level. This makes altitude sickness very common and it can easily ruin your trip if you are not prepared. And the experience is very weather dependent. You want to visit during the rainy season for the mirror effect. But if it is cloudy or raining it could block the sunset! 💡Travel Tips: What time of year you visit makes a HUGE difference. For the mirror effect you want to visit between December - March otherwise the salt flats will be completely dry. But the rainy season comes with a lot of rain which can ruin the sunset views! The best is to plan extra days to adjust to the altitude and give yourself flexibility in case of bad weather. 📅 When to Go: December - March. This is the rainy season with the famous mirror effect. 🎥 Stitched Video Credit: @adrienraza - Check out Adrien's page! Do you agree or disagree? 🤔 What place should we rate next? 🌍 Follow us @HudsonAndEmily as we rate every place in the world worth visiting! 😉 🗺️ This is part of our series "SKIP OR TRIP" - comment MAP for the full list, and let us know what place you want us to rate! 📍Santorini, Greece 🥇Trip-ability Score = B+ ✅ Pros: One of the most photogenic islands in the world! Iconic blue domed churches, cliffside views, and absolutely stunning sunsets. Plus surprisingly reasonable boutique hotels starting around $150 a night. ❌ Cons: The crowds! 500,000+ visitors in the summer makes it almost impossible to walk in the main city, let alone enjoy the sunset. 💡Travel Tips: VISIT DURING SHOULDER SEASON! Also wake up early to explore the streets at sunrise before the large cruise ship crowds arrive. Make sure to check out other beautiful towns like Imerovigli and Pyrgos instead of spending all your time in Oia. Also wear very comfortable walking shoes because there are lots of steep steps everywhere. 📊 Estimated Monthly Visitors: -Peak Summer (July - August): 500,000+ visitors -Shoulder Season (May, June, Sep, Oct): 250,000 - 400,000 visitors +Off-Season (Nov - March): Under 50,000 visitors 📅 When to Go: May, September, and October. The weather is still warm enough to enjoy the outdoors but you will mostly avoid the insane peak summer crowds. 🎥 Stitched Video Credit: @dineandfash Check out Krystle's page if you love incredible meals and beautiful destinations! Don't visit Paris without seeing this place. 🥰 What would you rate it? 🤔 Where should we rate next? 🌍 Follow us @HudsonAndEmily as we rate every place in the world worth visiting! 😉 🗺️ This is part of our series "SKIP OR TRIP" - comment MAP for the full list, and let us know what place you want us to rate! 📍Mont Saint-Michel, France (sorry to the French for our English pronunciation 😁) 🥇Trip-ability Score = A Tier ✅ Pros: This is an easy day trip from Paris! See the real-life fortress that it inspired Disney's Tangled and The Lord of the Rings. It has an incredible 1,300-year history of remaining unconquered thanks to the epic surrounding tides and quicksand. ❌ Cons: The only reason this isn't an S Tier is because as it grows more famous the crowds also grow too. The narrow streets in the city can get overwhelmingly packed during peak season. If you go during the winter, you run the risk of dreary weather. 💡Travel Tips: To see it when it is green visit in May-June, early morning before the crowds, and at low tide! If you just want to make it a day trip, there are plenty of stress-free by booking a guided day tour directly from Paris. (But depending on the year you might arrive with more crowds) Also, the quicksand at high tide are very real! 💦 Daily Tides: There are two high tides and two low tides every single day. The exact times shift forward by about 50 minutes each day as they follow the moon's rotation. 📅 When to Go: Late March - May. Visiting during the spring is the absolute best time to have pleasant weather while avoiding summer tourist crowds. 📸 Stitched Video Credit: @bydastann - Check out Dastan's account and in a few weeks you'll be booking your next trip to Kazakhstan! ONLY 1 COUNTRY LEFT!!! 💫😊 We'd love for you to follow our journey as we visit all 198 countries! And share this with someone you want to travel with. 🌍 This video is a repost of when we visited our 197th country earlier this year! As many of you know, we intentionally saved the Bahamas to be our last country, but we are now waiting for a better time to visit Sudan, and that will be our final country. We can't wait to share country 198 with you next year, and in the meantime raise our baby and share more of our favorite destinations and experiences to help YOU plan your travels. 🌍 We are SO grateful for this journey. Do you agree or disagree? 🤔 What place we should rate next? 🌍 Follow us @HudsonAndEmily as we rate every place in the world worth visiting! 😉 🗺️ This is part of our series "SKIP OR TRIP" - comment MAP for the full list! 📍Na Pali Coast, Kauai, Hawaii 🥇Trip-ability Score = A tier ✅ Pros These sea cliffs are some of the tallest, and probably the most beautiful, on earth. The lush green landscape makes it feel like dinosaurs still live here. You can see famous filming spots from movies like Jurassic Park. ❌ Cons There are zero roads to access this very remote coastline. Getting to the island of Kauai requires taking an extra flight. The only way to see the Na Pali Coast is by hiking or paying for a boat or helicopter tour (which can be pricey!) 💡Travel Tips Book a helicopter or boat tour well in advance to secure your spot. If you plan to hike the Kalalau Trail, you must get a permit early. Bring motion sickness medicine if you choose the boat tour option (I got sea-sick on the boat! 🤢😂) 📅 When to Go May - September. The ocean waters are much calmer during the summer months for boat tours and kayaking. 📸 Stitched Video Credit - @wanderingcreator_meghana If you are looking to discover the best hidden gems and scenic spots across California, Meghana's page is the perfect place to start. Her travel guides and road trip itineraries are amazing for planning your next adventure! ---------- 🎉 Follow us @HudsonAndEmily for your next trip! 🌍 We're an American travel couple who's visited every country in the world (except one) and all 50 states. 51.4 MILLION VIEWS!! 😱❤️🎉 BUT is it a SKIP or WORTH YOUR TRIP?! It lt's like stepping onto another planet. You have thousands of crystal-clear, freshwater lagoons, naturally filtered through pure quartz, nestled perfectly between rolling white sand dunes. It's over 380,000 acres big! Meaning you can stand on a dune and see nothing but white sand and blue water all the way to the horizon. ❌ Cons: The reason it is A tier is because the journey isn't for every traveler. You have to take multiple flights, then a long drive and a bumpy 4x4 jeep ride. Also the time of year you visit matters a lot. The lagoons dry up completely if you visit during the wrong months. Remember to plan ahead. There is very little shade and the midday sun can get extremely hot. 🤩 We haven’t made it here yet, but it’s at the top of our bucket list! For this rating, we’re judging it based on our research + what we’ve heard from other travelers. 💡Travel Tips: 📅 Timing is everything for Lençóis Maranhenses, so plan your visit between June and August when the rain-fed lagoons are at their fullest. 🚙 Book a group tour from the towns of Barreirinhas or Santo Amaro starting around $45 to $60. 🌅 For the best experience, book an afternoon tour to catch the dramatic golden hour shadows. If your budget allows, take a scenic Cessna flight to grasp the massive scale of the dunes from above. 🎥 Stitched Video Credit: @mikelboisset - check out his page! What would you rate this place? 🤔 Where should we rate next? 🌍 Follow us @HudsonAndEmily as we rate every place in the world worth visiting! 😉 🗺️ This is part of our series "SKIP OR TRIP" - comment MAP for the full list! 📍Maldives 🥇Trip-ability Score = S Tier ✅ Pros: One of the most beautiful crystal clear water and white sand beach destinations in the world! Over 100 islands: with dozens of luxury resorts. World-class snorkeling and scuba diving where you can swim with dolphins, whale sharks, manta rays and more. 💵 Plus budget travel options on local islands! Not as luxury, but makes it possible to travel to paradise on a budget. ❌ Cons: Luxury resorts are notoriously expensive with many rooms starting at $650 USD a night. Getting to luxury hotels often requires a very expensive seaplane flight after you arrive at the main airport. You are entirely isolated on one island so you cannot easily leave to find cheaper food options. The rainy season brings a lot of rain! 😂 💡Travel Tips: Use your credit card points to cover the high cost of your luxury resort stay. If on a budget, stay at guesthouses on local islands guesthouse to experience the culture on a budget. Don't visit during the rainy season 😉 🏨The hotel from this video is the Avani+ Fares Maldives Resort. 📅 When to Go: November - April. The weather is mostly dry and sunny which creates the absolute best conditions for snorkeling and swimming.   🎥 Stitched Video Credit: @travelwithjaro - Jaro is well worth following! You can choose between the iconic south rim or the peaceful north rim. The hiking trails offer an unforgettable adventure for all skill levels. ❌ Cons The areas near the main visitor's center on the south rim gets completely overrun with crowds during peak season. The North rim is closed for the winter. If you just come for the view and not to hike and explore you might leave disappointed. 💡Travel Tips Get away from the crowded visitor center and Mather Point for a better experience. Drive the extra four hours to the north rim if you want to escape the massive crowds. Book your lodges or campgrounds at least six months in advance because they sell out fast. Or stay outside the park and drive into the park before sunrise. 📅 When to Go March - May. What would you rate Mauritius? 🤔 Where should we rate next?  🌍 Follow us @HudsonAndEmily as we rate every place in the world worth visiting! 😉 🗺️ This is part of our series "SKIP OR TRIP" - comment MAP for the full list! 📍 Mauritius (and the "underwater waterfall") 🥇Trip-ability Score = A ✅ Pros: Mauritius is a seriously underrated country! Amazing beaches, waterfalls, and several hotel options for every budget! 🐬 One of the best places to swim with dolphins in the wild! 💦 The "underwater waterfall" is really unique. But the real magic is the beach and mountain view. ❌ Cons: The famous "underwater waterfall" illusion can only be seen properly from a drone or an expensive helicopter ride. And it usually is most impressive in videos online. ✈️ Getting to this remote island requires a very long flight from most places in the world. 💰 Staying at a nice beachfront resort can easily cost over $300 USD per night. 📅 When to Go: May - December. The weather is cooler and much drier which makes it the perfect time for relaxing on the beach. 📸 Stitched Video Credit: @connorcornelius - Check out Connor's account to see the original video and other beautiful travel!  __________________________ 🎉 Follow us @HudsonAndEmily for the best destinations + experiences for your next trip! 🌍 We're an American travel couple who's visited every country in the world (except one) and all 50 states. Do you agree or disagree? 🤔 🗺️ This is part of our series "SKIP OR TRIP". Where should we rate next?!   🌍 Follow us @HudsonAndEmily as we rate every place in the world worth visiting! 😉 📍Bali, Indonesia 🥇Trip-ability Score = B Tier ✅ Pros: Bali has some unbelievably beautiful locations Like waterfalls, rice terraces and beaches. The local culture is beautiful and the food is absolutely incredible. You can easily find amazing luxury villas for under $100 a night. There are tons of people from all around the world staying in Bali. ❌ Cons: The traffic in popular areas like Canggu and Seminyak can be a total nightmare. It has also become very crowded with tourists in recent years. Some beaches struggle with trash washing ashore during the rainy season. 🏖️ Beaches: Don't plan to visit Bali for the world's best beaches. While there are beaches, the most beautiful beach locations are actually on other islands in Indonesia. ✈️ Other Islands To Visit Nearby: Bali is a great launching point to some of the most beautiful places in the world (often less crowded!) 1. Raja Ampat (highest marine biodiversity on Earth) 2. Komodo National Park (prehistoric dragons and multi-colored beaches) 3. Lombok (what Bali was 20 years ago) 4. Nusa Penida (Beautiful cliffside beaches and 45 minute boat ride from Bali) 5. Mount Bromo & Ijen Crater in Java (Otherworld volcano sunrises & blue volcanic flames) 6. Gili Islands (laid-back tropical escape with no cars and white sand beaches) 💡Travel Tips : Bali is a dream for many but it's not for everyone. Set realistic expectations.Download the Grab or Gojek apps for cheap rides and fast delivery. Rent a scooter to get around the bad traffic (if you are comfortable driving 🛵 in traffic). Head up north to escape the heavy crowds. See other beautiful, less crowded places in Indonesia other than Bali!  📅 When to Go: April - October. These months make up the dry season so you will get plenty of sunshine and lower humidity for exploring. 📸 Stitched Video Credit - corrin_young #skiportrip #travelcouple #everycountry #indonesia #ba What would you rate Bali?

Skip or worth the trip? 🤔 Where should we rate next? 📍Hanging Restaurant & Bar, Sekumpul Waterfall - Bali, Indonesia 🥇Restaurant Score = S Tier 🌍 Follow us @HudsonAndEmily as we rate every place in the world worth visiting! 😉 🗺️ This is part of our series "SKIP OR TRIP" - comment MAP for the full list! ✅ Pros: What makes this restaurant S Tier is that it has one of the best views in all of Bali with food and drink for less than $10 USD. It's in the northern part of the island, away from the crowds and traffic. Sekumpul Waterfall is the tallest, and personally our favorite, waterfall in Bali. Plus it's next to the stunning Lemukih Rice Terraces (aka Fiji Rice Terraces) nearby. ❌ Cons: Even though we rated the restaurant an S tier, it's not for everyone. The downside is that it's located very far north which means a long drive. (The traffic in Bali is no joke!) The hike down to the actual waterfall base is extremely steep. The entrance area to the falls can be confusing and guides often claim it costs more than the actual fee. So do your research before going. 💡Travel Tips: If you don't regularly drive mopeds, hire a private car for the day to make the long trip safely. (We drove a moped and it was amazing for beating the traffic, but it is a long drive.) Bring cash because credit card machines rarely work in this remote mountain area. Wear shoes with good grip if you plan to walk down to the waterfall base. Be aware of the actual current price of the waterfall as guides often say conflicting prices. 🎥 Stitched Video Credit: @unstoppable.nina - Check out Nina's page for amazing solo female travel content in Bali and around the world! __________________________  🎉 Follow us @HudsonAndEmily for the best destinations + experiences for your next trip! 🌍 We're an American travel couple who's visited every country in the world (except one) and all 50 states.
