The night of Tuesday 3rd June (technically the 4th of June because it was 2am) I woke up in bed, turned over and saw the love of my life turning blue. It is an image that I will never forget.
Adam had a cardiac arrest, which means his heart stopped. It’s different to a heart attack. An out of hospital cardiac arrest gives you a very low chance of surviving. The survival rate is 1/10. We get asked a lot, why did this happen. Adam did nothing to cause this. They said he had a heart condition we weren’t aware of that presents no symptoms. This really could happen to anyone, I don’t want to scare you but if you take anything from this PLEASE LEARN CPR!
Preforming CPR keeps the blood circulating round the organs to the brain, meaning if you are able to be brought back, you are hopefully brought back as you without brain damage, because as soon as the brain has no oxygen it starts to die. I know it doesn’t always work, we truly were the lucky ones. The four days in the coma we didn’t know if Adam would wake up as him, or if he would wake up with brain damage, or even if he would wake up at all.
Adam, I am so proud of you. Every single day. You are more resilient and strong than you even know. We’ve had a shit time, but we continue to push through and make memories and try to love our lives as much as possible!! I adore you darling.
PLEASE GET CPR TRAINED! Share this, send this, tag someone. You can get CPR trained on the @the_bhf website it takes 15 minutes. It might save a life. I never thought I’d use it either. But I did.

TINY HALLWAY DIY TRANSFORMATION on a budget 💁🏼♀️ another of my fave GIRL DIYS I’ve done this year 💪🏼🔨
we found our hallway really difficult to use because it’s not even big enough for a radiator cover! So I thought… nothing a bit of panelling can’t fix! I used a really affordable panelling kit from @bandq_uk & just planned out a design first on paper! I bought the antique brass hooks from @bandq_uk too!
It turned out so nice in the end and now we actually have a useable small space to hang our coats!!! 🥰 p.s…. How good is radiator paint? It’s actually my favourite discovery of 2025 😂

✨Watch, Share & Learn CPR ✨ Yesterday Adam & I did some interviews to raise awareness & support the @skybet and @the_bhf campaign to get people over Christmas to learn CPR!
Our story is real, Adam had no symptoms & did nothing to cause this happening. 8 out of 10 cardiac arrests happen at home - if you don’t act within 3 minutes it is the difference between life and death.♥️
Head to the BHF website and take 15 minutes of your time to learn CPR on a really clear & easy video using the RevivR Tool ♥️
Please tag your loved ones & spread awareness because you never know when you’re going to need this skill, I never thought I’d need it. My life could look very different right now. 😭

2nd April 2026 💕 Our baby girl FINALLY made her way into the world 🥺✨🤍 and we are utterly besotted with her 🐰
Unfortunately, my birth wasn’t as smooth as we’d hoped & I am still trying to process what happened! But we are all safe & sound, happy & settling into our new life 🥹
Everything I was scared of happening, happened 😂🥹 She really kept us on our toes with 3 weeks of early labour, a bleed, a cancelled c section, followed by a ridiculously quick & painful delivery that ended up in an emergency with intervention needed - leaving both me & baby girly quite battered and bruised and shaken up. BUT, the care we have recieved has been absolutely amazing, the midwife’s were incredible💞
I will share more over the next few days when I can, but for now we’re getting used to our newborn bubble & recovering 🥹🤍

TWO SECOND BAUBLE HACK 🎄❤️ sharing my viral bauble hack from a few years ago because I do this EVERY year and I honestly makes your tree look SO much better! So easy to do, takes 2 seconds! ✨ a lot better than adding wire through the baubles which I know some people do to achieve the same look - I can’t be bothered with that haha! I’ve used this same hack this year with my cottage tree! 🌲
P.S… no it doesn’t take ages to come off you literally just pull them right off! Takes no more time at all ✨🎅🏼❤️🥰

He had literally just got out the shower after work and was banging on about this shower tray he had to fit at work and how it had been painful (he’s a plumber) and I was pacing around thinking omg will you shut up about this shower tray 😂😂
Anyway, I couldn’t even wait for him to get dressed haha! Told him to sit down and shut his eyes because I had an early wedding anniversary gift for him…. He was like what we aren’t doing gifts 😂 safe to say he was very shocked he thought it was from Simba at first 😂🥰🥹🤍

COME COOK WITH ME FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY NEW KITCHEN 👩🏼🍳 (Seabass pasta recipe below 👇🏽)
AD My whole kitchen was designed around my mantle & this beautiful Rangemaster Classic Deluxe cooker from @ao
I’ve said it before & I’ll say it again - @ao are the ONLY company I’ll trust with delivery of appliances! They are always on time, the delivery men are so nice, they deliver, install & recycle - and with the tight timeframes for this kitchen renovation before baby girl arrived, @ao took the stress out of worrying if my oven would arrive on time! ✨
They have an entire range of Rangemaster cookers on their website - defo worth a look!

SEABASS PASTA RECIPE:
Serves 2
Ingredients:
Butter
Salt, Pepper & Garlic & Chilli Flakes
2 x Seabass fillets
2 x Red Fresh Chilli
1 pack of Fresh Baby Tomatoes
150ml Double Cream
Parmesan Cheese
White Wine (I didn’t include for obvious reasons 🤰 but normally I would)
Fresh Basil
Tagliatelle
1. Get your tagliatelle cooking in lightly salted water
2. Heat a tbsp of butter, salt, pepper, chilli flakes in a pan
3. Cook seabass 3 minutes either side (skin side down first) then remove from pan and wrap in tinfoil to keep hot
4. Add your tomatoes (chopped) and chopped red chillis (to taste, we use 2) to the same pan with some olive oil
5. Add garlic, salt & pepper and fry until tomatoes are soft
6. At this point add a splash of white wine if wanted
7. Turn heat down & add 150ml of double cream
8. Add 2 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese
9. Add pasta to dish & seabass back in (broken up)
10. Fresh basil for the top and done 👩🏼🍳✨

Simba, you are the best big brother in the world and I never doubted it! I can’t wait to watch Simba and Hattie-Jane grow up together!😭🫶🏼✨🤍💞
Before I gave birth, so many people told me that I’d resent my dog when I brought home baby girl, and it really upset me because Simba is my first baby, I’m so happy that I haven’t found that the case at all🫶🏼.
He has been my lifeline, patiently watching in the corner when we change her and feed her, watching over her, protecting her & loving her already💛
Don’t get me wrong, juggling a 1.5 year old hyperactive fox red working male un-neutered Labrador with a newborn has been an adjustment… but he is still just as much a priority to us! He gets his 2 big walks a day from my husband, he is still getting snuggles & we include him in everything🥹 it is hard, but it is possible! He will always be our first baby & I am just so proud of how he’s adjusted 🥹🤍💞
Hattie is lucky to have you as a big brother 🤎

DIY £15 SHAKER PANELLING GUIDE ⬇️
I panelled another wall whilst my husband was at work 😂 is this becoming a pattern… no but sorry I am CHUFFED! It’s transformed the space 🙌🏼✨ guided for measuring & tools you need below! Make sure to like & save this reel for later! I got everything I needed from @bandq_uk
TOOLS NEEDED:
2 x £15.97 MDF shaker panelling kits 1.2m in height
21 x 29 x 2400mm Scotia Pine trim for dado rail
Pencil & paper
Spirit level
No more nails glue & caulk, MDF primer & paint of choice
MEASUREMENT GUIDE:
(If you’re not sure, you could use CHAT GPT but I like to do it myself)…
1. Measure width of wall
2. I knew my height as I was using the full mdf strip height of 1.2m as they come.
3. Measure width of MDF strip (say 10cm)
4. Decide how many panel squares (ish) you want for your aesthetic - completely your choice if you want less your gaps will look wider, if you want more they’ll look smaller. I wanted 7.
5. If I want 7 panels, I need 8 strips stuck across. They are 10cm wide so that’s 80cm in strip widths.
6. Take the width of your wall, and minus your strip widths (mine was 80cm)
7. Whatever you’re left with, divide that by how many panel gaps you want (I wanted 7). That number is how wide each gap is!
8. Draw onto paper & check numbers add up! Draw into wall!

our baby is due 3 weeks today!! 🥹🥰 time to set up the car seat… I’m sorry but Adam has absolutely MELTED my heart in this 🥹
Absolute dad mode activated hahaha!!!!! He’s so pleased with himself 😆 (we filmed this this weekend before his back went again haha😅)
We’ve got the Maxi Cosi 360 car seat, got it in our pram package from @mamasandpapas 🤍✨ and it fit perfectly in our new family car to replace Adam’s van (which absolutely would not fit a car seat in haha) it’s the @vauxhall Grandland Electric ad⚡️
It’s getting real now!!! When do you think she’ll come?????
