In case the billionaire weddings are getting a bit much…🙃 we gave 48 hours’ notice, had zero plan and it was perfect in every single way. It’s been 4 months since @brewdogjames and I got married, and I’ve only just found the words to share how it actually went down…. There was no dramatic dress reveal. No fuss. Just our family in his hometown of Gardenstown in northeast Scotland, in the same church his grandparents and great-grandparents got married in. It felt exactly right. Some details, because I’ve left it far too long to talk about my wedding: • Invites went out on WhatsApp 48 hours before • I didn’t do a dress fitting. It was four inches too big and I wore it anyway • My bouquet was a bunch of supermarket daffodils I stole off the kitchen table in the way out of the house • Tea and toast at James’s Granny’s house before the ceremony • James’s daughters planned the entire thing in a white board in our kitchen • Monty was our ring bearer • Stanley Johnson read Corinthians 13 and yes, we are genuinely friends 🤣 • I arrived at the church in our family rental van • James left in the boot because there wasn’t enough room lol • The girls baked our wedding cake that morning. Smarties and all • We did our pics on James’ dad’s lobster fishing boat • We had sausage rolls at the tiny little pub in the village then went to BrewDog (handily we didn’t need to pull serious strings to get booking 🤣) for beers and burgers •I haven’t felt that calm and relaxed since, it was serene It was 2 degrees (freezing) but big bright sunshine. It felt like it was the first time the sun had shone in 6 months up there. No drama. No production. Just the most magical and special day. I wouldn’t change a thing.

Wedding cakes are a complete waste of money 🍰 . We had the children bake ours that morning. No fancy tiers, no overpriced price tag. Just made with pure love. Best decision ever!! Flowers are overpriced and overrated 💐. I grabbed daffodils straight out of the vase on our kitchen table, and you know what? They were perfect. £2 from the supermarket and not a single florist in sight. You don’t need to spend the morning apart 💒. Who made that rule up?!? Waking up together on your wedding day is actually really romantic (and calming in my opinion). Getting the chance to share your nerves and excitement together is something to be cherished xxx Children SHOULD be at weddings 🚸!!! Let’s be honest children bring the best chaos, particularly on the dance floor. They add magic, not mess. No need for a three course meal 🍽️. We had burgers at BrewDog and it was everything and more. Grazing tables, pizza ovens, food trucks all way more fun than an over the top three course meal. You don’t have to change your surname ❌. Or he can take yours. Or double barrel. Tradition is optional, your identity isn’t. Let’s debate in the comments… What “rules” are you breaking at your wedding?

All aboard the family holiday to Devon 🚂 On Wednesday @brewdogjames and I swapped London for the countryside and took the train from Paddington to Totnes (back to the homeland!) and treated ourselves to the Pullman service on the way. £38 for two courses and honestly? So worth it. For my birthday this year, I had one request: keep it lowkey. But let’s be honest… nothing about a full family holiday is ever truly lowkey 😂 We’ve rented the dreamiest cottage down in Devon, and having everyone under one (very charming) roof has been chaotic in the best way. We’ve got some big news… that’s a scan you’re looking at… But no, I’m not pregnant. It’s actually MUCH worse ha. 😅 @brewdogjames has been told he can’t run the marathon because he’s got bone damage and torn ligaments (cue dramatic music lol). But would that stop the most competitive man I know? Absolutely not. He’s basically turned our house into an elite sports rehab centre. He’s tried the hyperbaric chamber, had countless scans, foot injections, sauna sessions, and is now permanently attached to a pair of compression boots. And as for me? Wife duties have officially begun. As you know, I love a bit of biohacking, so I’ve taken the natural route… grounding in the back garden, ice packs on rotation, yoga classes (the only time I’ve managed to get James on the mat, of course it took an injury), snacks delivered like clockwork, and yes, even singing to him in the hyperbaric chamber. You name it, we’ve probably tried it. But with less than 24 hours until the marathon, we’re running out of time and ideas. 🚨Drop any last minute miracle cures below, we’re desperate. I never thought I’d still be battling severe acne at 30. My skin has been my biggest struggle for as long as I can remember. The ups and downs, the flare ups, the way it can dictate how I feel about myself in an instant. It’s relentless. But documenting my skin from May through to September has taught me something important: healing isn’t about reaching ‘perfect’ (because there isn’t such a thing!!). It’s about noticing the shifts, being kinder to myself on the hard days, and remembering that happiness can exist alongside struggle. Here’s what I’ve learnt along the way: 🤍 Progress isn’t linear: and that’s completely okay. 🤍 Kindness to yourself is everything: speak gently, especially on bad skin days. 🤍 Life goes on: living fully isn’t cancelled because of breakouts. If your skin feels like your biggest enemy right now, please know this. You’re not alone, and you are so much more than what you see in the mirror xxxx
