So I had a dream last week, And basically all it was, is I was 80, sat in a like a care home, and I kept saying to the nurses “jus play it again pls” And I was just sat there watching the usb show with Thomas over and over again 😂😂😂😂 And then I sat there being like ‘look that’s me! I’m there!’ I usually have a rule that I don’t watch anything back, I just do the thing, and then try to stay present and just sorta keep working on writing music, like I’ve still never watched our Glastonbury set. Or most things tbh, but yeah with this, I justtttt. Can’t. Stop. Probably because a lot of it isn’t my music, so it’s not subject to my usual very critical inner voice about stuff. Instead I’m just a fan more proud of a sort of human moment than anything else. Now I know in a way it sounds kinda morbid in some ways Buttt lemme tell you, one thing was very clear when I woke up. It was not a nightmare, it was definitely a dream. Eternally grateful ❤️ @thomasbangalter @albertsandgothmaan

Hello guys. Me and the Latin mafia brothers have been working on music for many moons now. They are makin some of my favourite music in the world right now. It’s so beautiful but surprising but contained but adventurous. Its a joy to link wit these guys always. Theyre 3 brothers and I make music wit my lil brother as well so its jus 5 brothers every time we get together. And we’re both managed by our siblings too! So yeah proper family affair we been working on ideas for the last couple years together on and off. It was mad how quickly everything we made felt like it was naturally part of the same world, like sometimes I find I have to really work hard to make things feel like a contained universe, but in this case everything that came out just naturally felt like one thing to us all. So we wanna put it all out as one project. we’ve decided to get together in their home of Mexico City to finish it all. Fred es un artista que conocemos desde hace un par de años atrás y tuvimos la oportunidad de ir a varios de sus show, siempre ha sido una inspiración por lo honesta y sensible que es su música, Cuando nos conocimos simplemente hizo sentido, por la forma en que compartimos tantas cosas a la hora de crear. Han sido un par de años desde que nos juntamos a trabajar en música y cada vez que hemos estado en el mismo espacio se siente como que hemos sido amigos desde siempre. Solo Cosas increíbles podían salir de eso Y queremos compartir con ustedes lo que hemos creado juntos a lo largo de este tiempo. Hello guys. Me and the Latin mafia brothers have been working on music for many moons now. They are makin some of my favourite music in the world right now. I always hate the moment after shows where the lights go up and the music stops and the magic like evaporates more quickly than my emotions have time to realign or to process. Last night I got to play with Thomas Bangalter, Erol Alkan, Busy P at the Pompidou Centre in Paris, the last night before it closes for 5 years. Thomas told me in this lift on the way down to the show that the first time he fell in love with electronic music was in this building in 1992. He also told me hasn’t played a proper set without the mask on for 24 years. I didn’t know what to say to either of those things and I still don’t. All I said to him at the end is that I hope it isn’t 24 years til the next. Eveeerryone I know basically sent me this video of him dancing to rumble in the last month. And if you haven’t seen it it’s inSANE. He turns off gravity at one point just for a sec. So we asked him if he wanted to shoot a video for this record in Vancouver. this weekend we got to play with the absolute pillars of UK music. it was the merging of so many of the most important parts of UK music it was just an honour to get to stand there and witness it and be one part of it. after soundcheck tony came up to me and was like “well that was my favourite soundcheck ever, JME and d double walked off and underworld and mike skinner walked on WHAT EVEN IS THAT” and yeah i was so busy and stressed about tryna make it all work and fixing mixes i didnt totally clock how mental the SOUNDCHECK was!!! let alone the show…. i said on the night and i will sayyyy it again, that that room, and the way it felt, was standing on the shoulders of the things built by underworld, the streets, jme and so on thank u infinity to: underworld, mike skinner, romy, jme, d double e, berwyn, femi, ezra collective, ca7riel & paco, headie one, jamie t, blanco, joy anonymous, mph, nia archives, hamdi, oppidan ❤️
