I’ll stop banging on about this when we can collectively stop having our self confidence and self worth destroyed by the time we are spending online xx

This case is being reviewed by the attorney general now. It is essential we keep public pressure on them. This cannot be a precedent we allow.

TRULY delighted to be involved in @tenawomenuk campaign as they call on UK gyms and sports clubs to incorporate pelvic floor exercises into their training programmes to address the alarming number of women dropping out sports due to pelvic health. AD. I’ve been incredibly proactive with my recovery this time around but two c-sections in two years (one emergency, one elective) have taken their toll and unsurprisingly, it hasn’t just been the sort of thing I can walk off. And yet many attitude towards pelvic floor health in this country are disappointingly misinformed, I feel incredibly grateful that I’ve had the support that I have, but as it stands this expert help is often not readily available or accessible. So I truly welcome and celebrate TENA getting behind this cause - there IS a stigma and a taboo about incontinence and it needs BUSTING and its campaigns like this that’ll do it. Pelvic floor issues are COMMON but they’re not normal and we deserve better - we deserve to feel empowered and in control and like there is a way that we are able to reclaim our participation in sports. It’s an ongoing journey for me, but one I’m proud of myself for being on and if you are experiencing bladder weakness, please know you’re not alone, there are brilliant products out there to support you while you work on strengthening your pelvic floor and getting back to feeling your best. ❤️

Honestly could go for ages about how this is giving exactly the same energy as Trump’s AI Jesus post, positioning himself as some sort of saviour that women clamour to- but more distressing is the fact that this IS working because they have a huge propaganda machine pushing it- so here are the facts. These people won’t save us, they’ll fuck us.

Read Invisible Women by @ccriadoperez and watch your perspective never be the same again. There are so many ways women suffer at the hands of a world built for men, but I made this today after reading that US companies will, for the first time, now be mandated to use crash test dummies with breasts. @stjohn_ambulance did a very good campaign about the CPR disparity earlier this year. Change is on the way but stay loud ladies!

Our apathy is a gift wrapped win for the far right and since last year’s general election saw the lowest voter turnout on record, I feel very strongly that we need to be getting political and we need to be getting political NOW.

I understand the want to hide away and pretend it isn’t happening. It’s hard to engage when you haven’t before, it’s hard to know where to go and where to start. You might feel that you don’t know enough. I actually think that’s what they want you to think. It is not too late to learn. But it will be if we aren’t careful.

Our vote, and the privilege of not using it? That was very hard fought for. Please. Get up and get in it via whatever means you can.

I’m going to tag some accounts and resources below. @ashleylouisejames did a great video going into all of this after Pharrell Williams said he didnt ‘believe’ in politics and I’d encourage you to check that out xx

This week on the podcast, Only Fans creator @lilyphillip_s. Last year Lily, 24, set herself the challenge of sleeping with 100 men in a day. This stunt garnered her a lot of media attention and sparked a mainstream debate about the future of the porn industry, one that’s only intensified in the wake of more extreme challenges being announced.

We have tried hard over recent months to land somewhere in this discussion, trying to work out whether we ourselves think these stunts empowering or demeaning? Whether they are inherently feminist or misogynistic? And we have been repeatedly asking ourselves how we judge the women capitalising on the male gaze whilst negating to ever mention the very men that give these women the platform in the first place??

We said we’d love to talk to an Only Fans Creator about this. We NEVER expected Lily to say yes to us, but she did, and we are SO grateful to her for her willingness to have this conversation with us. We put our questions to her, and in doing so, we were reminded of the one thing this conversation has always lacked: her humanity.

The answers to a lot of these questions remain unsure but the perspective we gained from this conversation? That felt invaluable.

a judgement for ✨every occasion✨ I have been really interested in the idea of our internalised misogyny since my last post (and since I first started unpicking my own years ago, tbh, there’s more to come on the topic) so for now, I wanted to spend a day listening to the worst and most judgemental little voice inside my head that, it isn’t necessarily what I think, but that I worry is whar everyone else thinks, and it exists thanks to years of societal conditioning that damn us at every turn!

Nearly didn’t make this cos I thought I’m just saying what we all already know. But then to know it and not fight it is to normalise it, and I want no part of that. So, here I go, pointing out the obvious, again.

Reform UK pt. 2. In synopsis, thank you Isaac for proving my point. He is not, however, the majority. We need to be v aware of these man made divisions. The bro vote terrifies me. Could talk for DAYS on it. Alas had to squish this all in. Thank you everyone for the support last week. I’ve largely ignored the noise because a lot of it was fucking terrifying to be honest, but I believe we cant ignore all of this and hope it goes away, our collective humanity is at risk and we cannot afford to be passive, we have to fight it.

The very real threat to our safety continues to be weaponised. Please don’t fall for it. The threat is real, the violence is real, statistically speaking the perpetrators are in these crowds.

And before you even think about telling me “ugh you can’t say anything anymore”, the fact I am reacting to it means people can, and do, still very much say these things. The difference is, now, you will be challenged on your shit. This is a wildly reductive way to speak about women. And yet still they do it!!

(I edited down the original clip a bit to make space for a reaction here but kept full context)

Having initially walked free, the verdict was overruled, thankfully, in the court of appeal and the boys have been sentenced to 4 years. Which is a huge win. But there are no winners in this case. Not when it’s so representative of this culture.

Jameela Jamil is BACK on the pod - and she’s not holding back (are you surprised?!).

We got into everything: the ‘Ozempic Olympics’, the death of body positivity, Hollywood’s return to ultra-thinness, and why she refuses to stay quiet when she knows the culture is sliding backwards.

She talks about what it takes to speak out loudly (and why so many don’t), how celebrities are glamorising the new wave of extreme thinness, and what real accountability looks like in an industry obsessed with perfection.

A moment for the reporting, AS EVER ☹️ very very important that we continue to challenge and unpick these headlines and these stories because they are the narrative and we can’t let this be it.

Big big big props and thanks to @ourstreetsnow though because they fought hard for this legislation and this is the work to celebrate and support 👊🏼
