I’m bringing back the challenge that taught me everything about consistency, repetition, and the power of showing up daily. Day 7 of trying to make 100 free throws in a row. While tennis doesn’t help the ball go in the basket, it’s a great complementary sport for basketball. We live in a world of specialization, but I believe a lot of concepts from tennis could help take basketball players’ games to the next level.

I’m ready to be mansplained to about my shooting form. The lower body to upper body connection has always been one of the most difficult aspects of sports to me. I’ve struggled with it in basketball my whole life and I’m experiencing the same difficulties in golf right now. If anyone has any tips, I’m all ears.

There’s a difference between a goal and a dream. This summer, making 100 free throws in a row has felt more like a dream than a goal. With less than a month left, I’m trying to change that. To turn the dream back into a goal. And actually chase it.

Day 6 of trying to make 100 free throws in a row before the end of summer. Last time I did this challenge, I was focused on shooting volume. This time around I’m focusing on addressing the fundamental issues with my shooting form. I might have to get worse before I get better, but I think it’ll pay off in the long run.
