I finally got every car guy’s dream: a lift! DONT WORRY, THE VIDEOS WILL CONTINUE TO BE ON JACK AMD JACK STANDS WITH COMMON HAND TOOLS!!!! If you ever wanted a lift, here is a quick overview of things to consider and how the lift is installed. The big things to consider is having enough space for the lift, making sure your concrete is thick enough, and finally running the electric. When you work on cars outside, in your driveway, on jack stands almost every day for 10yrs, this is a dream come true! I got a new @bendpak 10AP lift that I will use OFF CAMERA to maintain my fleet of project cars. #ChrisFix

Learn how to properly replace your differential fluid yourself! This is something that should be done every 50k miles or 20k miles if you tow a lot. In this case I’m using a cut gasket, not RTV so I share some tips on using that. 1. Unscrew fill plug first so you know you can refill the diff after you drain it. 2. Remove the diff bolts and drain the diff. 3. Clean the old gasket off the diff cover and diff case. 4. Add gasket (if cut gasket use Permatex Cut Gasket Sealant. 5. Install diff cover with gasket. 6. Torque diff cover bolts in criss cross patten 7. Add gear oil until it spills out of the fill hole 8. Tighten fill plug so it’s snug #ChrisFix #PermatexPartner #Differential #DIY

As they say, you can’t take it with you… also the DriftStang and 🍋 BMW are making a comeback in 2026. I found a few tracks near my new place to drift and got a truck to tow the trailer so I can go to events! Me and my friends are going to customize the oil pan on the BMW and if the new engine blows again, I’m selling it lol. #ChrisFix #DriftStang

Learn how to store your small engine for long periods of time so it starts right up the next time you use it! 1. Add fuel stabilizer like @stabilbrand. Over time fuel breaks down and can gum up your carb or fuel injectors as well as just not combust well but by adding stabilizer it allows it to last 2yrs. 2. Fill the tank all the way with fuel. This removes all the air and therefore any moisture so you don’t get any corrosion in the tank. 3. Fog the engine. By removing the spark plugs and spraying fogging oil into the cylinder you prevent corrosion and lubricate the cylinder walls for when you start up the engine after storage. 4. Disconnect negative terminal on the battery so it doesn’t drain. 5. Use a spray detailer like @303carcare to clean your small motor and covers that way there is no old gas and water sitting on it which can cause corrosion. #ChrisFix #STABILPartner #Generator #Hurricane

Anyone else need a daily for their daily? The DriftStang is alive and well! Since moving I just put her in my garage and got everything else figured out. Now I just got a tow rig, I need to clean out the trailer, and finally get back to the track(s) down here. I also got a dyno so I can finally supercharge this after doing some testing! But first let’s get back on the track! #ChrisFix #DriftStang

Remember, NEVER STOP LEARNING and no one knows everything… with that said, this was the very FIRST time I ever went to a mechanic and you will understand why by watching… Luckily Stephen at @rennhaus is a pro and had this figured out in no time! My brain kept saying, bad transfer case control unit or a bad transfer case because they are known problems on Maseratis. I even tested the large positive and negative on the transfer case control unit wiring harness, which came back fine, but what I failed to test is the smaller trigger wire next to the canbus wiring which Stephen found to be bad! The cool part about all of this is Stephen walked me through the diagnosis so I learned a lot and added a new tool use to my arsenal of knowledge! Thanks a lot for helping me get my dad’s car 100%! #ChrisFix

Remember, NEVER STOP LEARNING and no one knows everything… with that said, this was the very FIRST time I ever went to a mechanic and you will understand why by watching… Luckily Stephen at @rennhaus is a pro and had this figured out in no time! My brain kept saying, bad transfer case control unit or a bad transfer case because they are known problems on Maseratis. I even tested the large positive and negative on the transfer case control unit wiring harness, which came back fine, but what I failed to test is the smaller trigger wire next to the canbus wiring which Stephen found to be bad! The cool part about all of this is Stephen walked me through the diagnosis so I learned a lot and added a new tool use to my arsenal of knowledge! Tire wear is not the only reason you may need to replace your tires, the age of the tire is just as important! Not too long ago I purchased 4 tires from a tire store (which will not be named) without realizing they were really old and the store wouldn’t do anything about it, so don’t let this happen to you. It’s important to understand how to read the age of your tires and check them to stay safe on the road. A lot of people also forget to check their spare tire! It can be out of sight, therefore out of mind on your vehicle, but if it’s too old, or flat, it’s not going to do you any good when you need it in an emergency! To fix my problem I got brand new tires shipped from @tirerack which is a reputable tire store and their tires are actually new… Now I can get back to dailying the Corvette again! #ChrisFix #TireRackPartner
