While they were both stars in the same TV franchise, the two never actually met on set. “We circled around each other for years as we both lived in Atlanta and worked on ‘The Vampire Diaries’ and ‘The Originals,’” Steven recalls. “We like to joke that we were probably in the same room a dozen times and never noticed each other.” It wasn’t until a cast reunion dinner in 2023 that they finally spoke to each other. Steven proposed to Candice at home in 2025 and the couple was initially planning on a big Nashville wedding with all their friends and family during the fall of 2026. In honor of the Sinclair’s favorite Murdick’s Fudge, I thought I’d whip up some sweet fudge of my own with a little Nashville twist 🤠 ☀️ Goo Goo Cluster Fudge ☀️ 2 1/2 cups chocolate chips 1 14oz can sweetened condensed milk 1/2 stick butter 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 cup wethers soft caramels 1 cup mini marshmallows 1 cup roasted peanuts Prep 8x8 pan with nonstick spray or parchment paper. In heavy saucepan over medium low heat add butter, chocolate chips, & sweetened condensed milk. Stir until chocolate is melted/smooth. Remove from heat (or turn off heat and quickly add the rest of the ingredients like I did!) . Add vanilla extract. Fold in caramel bits, marshmallows, and peanuts. Spread evenly in pan, chills for 2 hours, and then ✨ Enjoy!
