Turkey Qualifying 2:21.446. Pole position in 2025. Took me a while to track down this footage, but I was incredibly stoked of this qualifying session. My main goal was to improve on my previous year’s time. However, we showed up to a track and the conditions were way funky. A layer of dust had settled on the road making the levels of grip miserably low. Initially I didn’t think it would be possible. However, times progressed throughout the weekend and an improvement was possible. At the end of qualifying I was more than a second up on my 2024 time. Always fun pushing yourself to the limit. Hopefully we can get back in this track in 2026. Maybe sub 21 is possible. @madridskateboards @seismicskate @becker_grip_soles @lockskate_

Turkey Qualifying 2:21.446. Pole position in 2025. Took me a while to track down this footage, but I was incredibly stoked of this qualifying session. My main goal was to improve on my previous year’s time. However, we showed up to a track and the conditions were way funky. A layer of dust had settled on the road making the levels of grip miserably low. Initially I didn’t think it would be possible. However, times progressed throughout the weekend and an improvement was possible. At the end of qualifying I was more than a second up on my 2024 time. Always fun pushing yourself to the limit. First time back on this gem. Got a bad repave a couple years ago, but it’s coming back around. One of the most beautiful runs around, featuring one of the sickest double rights. San Diego got hit with a storm, so we went out to skate. A little intermission in my historical posts. Always enjoy some good rain skating. To be honest, after the first runs, the downpour was heavy and the road rivers were rushing. However, a couple runs in the sky’s cleared up and it turned into the perfect rain skating weather. 54/100 @madridskateboards @seismicskate @becker_grip_soles @lockskate_

The first break 2021 and 2022 were not nice to me. I learned many lessons that I hold dear to this day. At the time of filming this, I had yet to learn these lessons. A legendary crew, including our late friend Josh Neuman was assembled to film a trip in Northern California. On the first day, we skated a road called Mobbins. Knowing we were all going to film, we pressed our selves to learn our lines quickly. I had rarely felt as confident on my skateboard. After Josh filmed his run, it was my turn. I went faster than the runs previous, on a run I didn’t know enough. I miss calculated an apex, and hooked up to early. I got incredibly lucky. To my left was a retaining wall that would’ve meant 10 feet of free fall, and to my right a metal post that would’ve sliced me open (as @filmkingkurt would experience a couple weeks following) The best of the three options was flipping down 15 feet of slate. I was eventually caught in a tree, preventing me falling further. While I didn’t want to accept it, I was lucky to walk away only suffering a fracture to my left wrist. I continued the trip and eventually healed up. You would’ve thought I learned my lesson, but the following couple years would tell a different story. Thank you to Josh Neuman for inviting me on this trip, and capturing this pivotal moment for my relationship with downhill skateboarding. 26/100 #downhillskateboarding #crash #intense

A little closer than six feet from the edge… Dialing it in on one of the local gems. Stoked to have had the time on this hill to get comfortable with it. However, I’ve spent some time away and feel like there are some details to improve. Looking forward to rediscovering my limit on this one, within reason of course. 64/100 @madridskateboards @seismicskate @becker_grip_soles @lockskate_
And then TST after Outdoor mix, I tripped around France and Spain. Eventually I made it to TST to take part in the very first @wdschampionship event. This high speed and high risk road was the perfect proving ground for a new organization. For myself, it was the first decent result on an international level. While at the time, I wasn’t happy with it, 7th in qualifying and 5th in racing was a good performance. @adam.p.westfall effectively used stand up heel sides in racing heats heats, an inspiration for me. Unfortunately a harsh hook up took him out in consolation finals. It ended up being a three way battle between, @_shannontully_ (with a 360 GoPro pole mounted to the helmet), @gregoireschwab and myself. I was able to hold of @gregoireschwab for a 5th place finish. This was a great start of the 2022 international season, unfortunately it would soon come to an end for me. 32/100 #crazy #cte #downhillskateboarding

Led the boys straight into the deep end and it resulted in a big pile up. Bummed this weekend ended on a crash but stoked pace kept me out of the drama. One of the most intense heats I’ve ever been a part of. There is something about Maryhill finals that is so different. Every rider drops in knowing it’s going to be a knife fight until the very last second. Paired with the unique privilege it is to win this race makes it some the the toughest fought racing in Downhill Skateboarding. One of the most intense heats I’ve ever been a part of. There is something about Maryhill finals that is so different. Every rider drops in knowing it’s going to be a knife fight until the very last second. Paired with the unique privilege it is to win this race makes it some the the toughest fought racing in Downhill Skateboarding.
