Had this quirk my junior and senior year living off campus where the school would give you back money as compensation for not using room and board. Was like 3500/4000 for each semester. I would get the call to go pick up the check it was like hitting powerball. I immediately paid off rent for semester (which my roommate would go blow instead of giving to his mom and I’m pretty sure blame me he was still waiting for me to pay) and even gave my roommates $50 in gas money as a thank you bc i didn’t have a car and could actually go get something to eat for the day and go out at night and felt like I was a millionaire.

For those unfamiliar the Challenger division is for kids with physical and intellectual challenges. Get a fucking clue @Nationals . Some things are bigger than sports.

Some quick updates before turning on the first movie of the day. May have made a mistake not eating in Newark but it was fast food and I didn’t want to have to drop heat on the bus early. Got a call from @John_Fanta which prompted the bus driver to make an announcement to quiet down. Movie will be Crimson Tide via @BradPowers7 recommendation. Have started focusing on saving money even a little a day. Read a stat … a quarter a day saved for just 3 years is $62,000. I’m putting a $1 in to quadruple that.
