This is heartbreaking: Former Vikings’ QB Kellen Mond posted an emotional and detailed recount of his time in Minnesota, saying he was miserable and that his former HC, Mike Zimmer, never spoke to him during his rookie season because he didn’t want the team to draft him. “While I played for the Vikings, I never saw the General Manager and Head Coach speak. Imagine the two most important people in any organization never talking. What happens to that business? It crumbles.” When the coach of your team never speaks to you and doesn’t believe in you, it’s going to make it hard to have success. I can’t imagine the dark place Kellen Mond was in from a mental standpoint. (H/T: @vikingzfanpage)
