The new Firefox design is live in @FirefoxNightly with softer tab shapes, a warmer palette, refreshed icons, and the return of Compact Mode.

New independent research: Microsoft's Copilot data toggle defaults to "on" in the US and India, "off" in the EU. Same Windows, same Edge, same Copilot. The only thing that changed is the law. 1/2

Last week AI fought AI. This was a clear and concerning example of how much power these models wield. And a reminder that closed models aren’t safe just because they are closed. 1/2

We at Firefox have been on the open source train for 20 years. It is great to join with more than 20 organizations as Mozilla to support more open weight and open source AI.
