Most people don't know this:

Gmail and Outlook check your NAMESERVER reputation, not just your domain.

Cloudflare is the most commonly used NS option and for good reason, it's solid infrastructure. But as millions of domains (including spammers) flock to it, the neighbourhood score drops.

Even with proper warmup, you're fighting uphill against negative NS associations.

InboxedUp solution:

- Bought domains from 2003-2006 with spotless records
- Built custom NS infrastructure (Spamhaus 12+)
- Your domain = hosted on clean infrastructure with zero spam history

No neighbourhood penalties. No bad association flags. Just clean trust signals from the infrastructure level.

Screenshot shows one of our NS domains.

once your offer’s proven and printing scaling isn’t about spending more. It’s about sending smarter. Cut costs. Expand inboxes. Double your send volume without doubling spend. SMTP = leverage.

The difference between amateur SMTP and professional infrastructure: Amateur approach: Send emails Hope they land Check spam folder manually Blame "the algorithm" Professional approach: Track Spamhaus reputation Check nameserver health Check 50+ blacklists Test inbox placement Analyze sender patterns InboxedUp uses EmailGuard for full visibility on each point. You should be tracking the same metrics for your current setup. Try EmailGuard's free plan with your current domains. See what reputation data you've been ignoring while trusting your provider to handle it.

you'll pay for licensed google workspace. because "it just works." then refuse to pay for licensed MS infrastructure. use 99 inbox workarounds instead. 3 sends before disconnects. constant issues. "outlook is so unreliable." no. your infrastructure is unreliable. you chose workarounds over legitimate setup. google works because you paid for real infrastructure. outlook would too.

claude code is all over twitter right now. developers shipping saas products in weekends. the tool is legitimately incredible. but let's not forget what's not trending: there is no shortcut to enterprise-ready. soc2 compliance pentesting - annually ongoing sso/saml audit logs: infrastructure not afterthought security questionnaires: pages n pages of vendor risk support slas: contractual obligations with penalties building the product is maybe 20%. compliance infrastructure is the other 80%. supabase scales from $25/mo to $5k/mo with enterprise load. most twitter builders stop at "it works" enterprise buyers start at "prove you won't disappear and our data is safe" claude code is perfect for smb and mid-market. enterprise? understand the mountain before you climb it. celebrate the capability. respect the reality.

Once you see your offer has offer-market fit and you have your winning angle as Christian mentions, SMTP works really well paired with GSuite + MS

funny how this tweet aged. later that same night: major provider running the 99 inbox loophole just got hard banned. thousands of mailboxes gone. turns out infrastructure choices have consequences.

most cold email content online is recycled garbage. @mattceras is one of the few actually in the trenches testing, iterating, and sharing what works. worth a follow.

Most cold email fails because of something you can't control. Shared IP addresses. You're sending from the same IP as 50 other companies. One of them spams hard, gets flagged, and suddenly YOUR emails land in spam too. You did nothing wrong. But your deliverability tanks anyway. Here's what most people don't understand: When Gmail or Outlook evaluates your email, they check: Your domain reputation (you control this) Your content (you control this) Your IP reputation (you DON'T control this on shared infrastructure) Shared IPs aren't inherently bad. They work fine if everyone on that IP maintains good sending practices. The problem is you can't control the other senders. We kept seeing clients with perfect domains, solid copy, proper warming and still landing in spam. Took us some time to figure out why. Turned out, one bad actor on their shared IP was destroying everyone's reputation. So we built two options: Shared IPs - Curated pools where we only host domains with 12+ Spamhaus scores. You share the IP, but only with senders who've proven they're clean. Private IPs - Dedicated IP per domain. Your reputation stays completely isolated. Nobody else affects you, period. Most providers only offer one or the other. We realized different senders need different infrastructure. If your emails are landing in spam and you can't figure out why, it's probably not your messaging. Check your IP setup. What's your current setup? Shared or dedicated? Drop it in the comments curious to see what most people are running.

launching outlook infrastructure at inboxedup. licensed microsoft partnerships. 1 tenant = 1 domain configuration. your other domains don't burn when one gets flagged. complete isolation. 10-15 sends/inbox stable. no disconnects. no bans. no shared reputation risk. launch discount for early adopters. DM for access.

watching a shared panel outlook provider implode in real time. thousands of mailboxes gone after a hard ban. one provider running the 99 inbox loophole just got completely nuked. everyone using them lost everything together. same loophole, different providers. who's next? we built on licensed MS partnerships with complete isolation. reliability and longevity over exploits.

everyone wants better results. nobody does the math. "i need 10 meetings" "what's your lead to meeting ratio?" "i don't know" that's the problem. you can't scale what you don't measure. sean broke down the exact formula. most people never even calculate their baseline.

pre-warmed isn't just warmed. it's 1.5 months of: automated engagement patterns. gradual volume increases. reply rate establishment. esp trust signals. you're not buying empty inboxes. you're buying proven sender history. difference between fresh and trusted. 45 days of work already done.

google and microsoft are actively fighting cold outreach better spam detection, stricter enforcement, smarter algorithms cold email still works but only if your ops are tight proper domain rotation, proper warmup, behavioural variance, isolated sending they raised the bar you either raise your execution or you lose simple as that
