Life update - I’ve had some nagging hip pain for a handful of months and after some time off and worsening symptoms, an MRI showed I had a disc problem that needed to be treated.

I had a successful microdiscectomy performed yesterday at Hospital for Special Surgery in NY and have already been released from the hospital. I’m so grateful to the doctors and staff there for all their hard work and support.

My next few weeks will be a lot of resting before the rehab process begins. I have a great team behind me who I fully trust to get me back to a better place than I was before!

Before you ask, I’m not putting any tournament on the calendar or specific time for returning. While I will miss some events in the beginning of 2026, I want to be very smart and patient in letting my disc fully heal so it isn’t an issue again. I’m very lucky that the game of golf allows us to play at a high level for a long time, and that’s what I plan on doing - this procedure will allow me to do that injury free in the future. Can’t wait to see y’all back out there ❤️

I once hit the green on 16 @WMPhoenixOpen on a Saturday and 4 putted for a double… after making an 8 on the previous hole, I can confirm you can’t want to get off that hole fast enough and the boos (rightfully so) are on another level 🤣

@outside_the_cup Disagree with this take personally. It’s more to me of 3 wins vs 2, with one of the 3 being a playoff event and a major. That’s so huge. Knowing Scottie, he will go win this week and the conversation will be over and Scottie (deservingly) wins in a landslide haha

I’m so frustrated by what’s going on in @NCAA right now. The decisions they’ve made have seemed to ruin college sports and everything they’ve always stood for. Above my pay grade, but at what point do schools and coaches say enough is enough? Hope it all gets fixed ASAP

My random opinion nobody asked for on the POY race. What makes it so interesting to me from talking to different guys about it is how everybody’s definition of what makes a “player of the year” is different. That being said, nobody is right or wrong in that. It’s what is important to that specific person. Personally, I always view the difference of a good and great season is how many tournaments or majors a person has won. I think the best way to really debate it is which season would the players themselves actually rather have. Would they rather have more top 5’s, better scoring avg, consistency, wins, etc. Who has played better? Scottie has “played better” than anybody on the planet this season. No doubt. But… I find it hard to believe he would rather have his season (right now, pre Tour Champ) than Wyndhams which includes a major and one more W. A lot of this award also includes recency bias vs the entire season. The timing is important to be fresh in people’s minds vs remembering what may have happened early in the season. At the end of the day…. It’s not like an argument on other items where it’s a clear cut “this or that” kind of answer with stats to back it up. It’s all dependent on what an individual claims most important to make them the POY. All that being said- what happens at the Tour champ will be a deciding factor on who I vote for personally. Thanks for reading my rant that nobody asked for, everybody carry on with their day 🤣

7300-7400 yards, par 71, 4 par 5’s. Over par cut and -11 going to be the winning score. Innisbrook always holds its own!

@KylePorterNS Can’t put into words how incredible this is and how MAYBE 5 people in this tournament could even hit that shot let alone try it during a major, and pull it off haha

Does anybody enjoy randomly browsing Zillow as much as I do? Zero intention other than just seeing what’s in the area of whatever city we’re in that week

@LukeKerrDineen The more I play it, the more I think it might be the best short par 4 in golf. Right in front of you, nothing hidden, zero trouble in play… we’re thinking birdie probably every time we step on the tee… and can be grinding for par so quickly. Incredible design

I don’t think I can put into words how good @JT_ThePostman round was today… I’m out there trying to figure out where and how I can make ONE birdie, let alone shooting -7! 🤣 Today was probably the most difficult round I’ve played on tour. On to the weekend!

If I were to be a running back in the @NFL, what would happen first… I’m knocked out of the game due to injury or fumble? Cue the “both at the same time!!!!” (I think that’s my answer 🤣)

What an awesome week at Aronimink @PGAChampionship. Although it didn’t go exactly how I wanted, it sure was nice to post a number early yesterday to give myself a chance. Hats off to Aaron Rai with some insanely clutch shots down the stretch.

I was so impressed with the course - how it managed to test both our discipline and precision all week. It begged us to challenge pins and play aggressively, and we found out early we’d be punished if we didn’t execute. Which in my opinion, are just as major championships should be

Excited to watch @TheRSMClassic this week. Yes partially because I can’t really do much besides sitting on my recliner, but the level of importance of this tournament for players and next season. Every shot hit from the entire 2025 season comes down to this one week for some guys. The difference of having a Tour card or not, getting into the Players/elevated events on the line, having a schedule vs playing when you can get in, can all come down to one shot, putt or decision this week… so many storylines. I will be tuned in to watch the drama unfold!
