CFB needs to implement the transfer system that clubs have for international soccer. If a G6 team signs a player out of HS and a P4 team wants to sign them out of the portal, they should have to pay a transfer fee and agree to terms with the G6 program AND the player 🤷🏻‍♂️

I know we are in a wild state of coaching carousel conversations, but I’m starting to see a lot more discourse saying that there aren’t enough “quality candidates” available for upper-echelon jobs. That being said, here are the top 15 teams in the most recent AP Poll and their coach’s résumé prior to taking their current job… No HC experience in CFB: 9 total coaches P5 HC experience: 4 total coaches G5 HC experience: 2 total coaches

It’s sort of a catch-22. Obviously nobody WANTS to encourage kids to lie about their HT/WT. But I can tell you right now, unless it’s verified by the school or a legit camp, every school reads unofficial HT/WT and drops it by 1.5 inches and 10 pounds if they’ve never seen them.
