When I’m building collections, research is non-negotiable, but reading every report top to bottom just isn’t realistic, especially when focus is already a challenge. Lately, I’ve been turning long research docs into audio with Generate podcast in Adobe @Adobe Acrobat so I can listen while I work, sketch, and plan. It’s helped me move through information faster without cutting corners or skipping the thinking part. If research is part of your process, this has been a game changer for mine. #AdobeAcrobatPartner

Working in the creative industry means I’m always on the go, but it doesn’t mean I have an excuse to not get work done. Thats why I’ve been using Adobe Acrobat to help me turn my files into audio summaries with Generate Podcast. So whether I’m in the office or out in the city I can get to business whenever I need to. #adobeacrobatpartner @Adobe Acrobat

I went to the Streets of Shanghai to do some digging… Not on products, on people. Asked a few questions you probably shouldn’t ask in a store like this, hot takes, the kind of stuff people usually keep to themselves. Some of these answers are wild 😭 But that’s what makes a place like HARMAY interesting, it attracts people who actually have taste, not just trends.

Chinese designers are so underrated and this has to be my favorite store in Dongshan kou, @army_logic have such a beautiful design language. It is one of those brands that made me stop and actually look. They’re working in this neo retro Chinese design language I’ve been really drawn to lately, not nostalgia, not costume, but modern life filtered through memory, culture, and restraint. They talk about “new vintage,” not pulling from a hundred years ago, but from things closer to us, places, habits, traces that are slowly disappearing. The clothes feel quiet, but there’s a lot going on if you pay attention.

My first time in Chengdu and I had to visit one of favorite brands in china. NONRADICAL are one of those brands that I just super clean minimalist and have a really good eye foot details and you can see this store is just the same. Clean layout, modern build, nothing trying too hard. It feels like a space made for people who care about cuts, fabric and quiet details. I picked up a few things for winter because the quality really is there, and if you’re in Chengdu and want menswear that feels considered without being loud, give them a look. #Mensfashion #minimalistfashion #chinesebrands #ChengduShopping

This is part one to a guide of the world’s biggest fabric market Zhongda in Guangzhou China, a place with thousands of stores and stores featuring fabrics from all over China and Asia. It’s got one of the most comprehensive catalogs across activewear streetwear casual wear and pretty much everything in between. I obviously couldn’t include everything but this is part one in a series that’ll show you some of the best fabric and trim suppliers. If you’re looking to learn more or elevate your brand with better fabrics and trims, I think you know what to do.

Chinese brands are so slept on so I thought it’s about time for me to ungatekeep one of my favorite brands in Shanghai. From the environment to the store to the balance in their range, Randomevent is one of those low key brands that has crazy balance from the cozy core collections to the mad statement pieces. Not to mention they throw some pretty cool events. If you’re in Shanghai you know what to do

When it comes to hotels, this is close to the most enjoyable stay I’ve had, from the double story rooms with two beds, to their selection of awesomr fashion books, the settings at the Ananti Gangnam are a definite 9.75/10 . They have an insane gym with pretty much any machine and equipment you could need your workout and there are even 2 pools, an indoor and an outdoor. The only reason it gets a 9.75 instead of a 10 was because they first checked us into a room that was abit messy and instead of moving us into a clean room, it took them a while to bring cleaners that woulr help us solve the issue. Other than thats, its a place that id definitely recommend if youre travelling to Seoul its a must visit. #seoul #seoulhotels #hotel #korea

I’ve been addicted to vinyls ever since I was a kid and this is by far one of the best experiences I’ve had in a vinyl store, from the owner digging in the back to find me vinyls from Fela Kuti from his own collection to the general vibe in the store. They have a range of vinyls from all eras and genres from Jazz, to rock to rock. Not to mention the prices are fair and condition of all pieces are mint. The store is called Fruityshop located in Shanghai’s French Concession, and if you’re ever looking for Hidden Gems in around Asia, please have a look at @radii_media and @yaw_majesty You can thank us later #Shanghaimusic #shanghai #vinyl #hiddengems #travelguide

Fashion is having a big shift when it comes to t-shirt fabrics, the heavyweights are out and the natural lightweight fabrics are in. Brands like Enfants Riches Deprimes and Acne Studios have been leading the way with their styles going viral over the past 12-18 months.

First time properly behind the wheel of the Xiaomi SU7… and yeah, I might’ve just started something. I’m calling this now, this is going to be the most unserious car review series you’ve seen, but at the same time probably the most honest. No overexplaining specs, no pretending I’m a car journalist… just real reactions to what these cars actually feel like. The SU7 though… I get the hype. It’s smooth, it’s quick, and it actually feels like something designed by people who care about how things look and feel, not just numbers on a sheet. Also, quick correction, I got the range wrong in the video, it’s closer to 700km on a full charge. First review, I’ll take that one on the chin. We’ll get sharper as this goes on. This is just the start. Which car should I test next?

Winter is by far, my favorite fashion season and Carhartt WIP just make it that little bit easier with the new store in Shanghai. There’s just something about their auto way that can’t be beaten from the washes to the different workwear silhouettes. Even some of the accessories have leveled up from what I knew about the brand. Which jacket do you think I left with?

Most people talk about “luxury fabrics” without ever seeing where they actually come from. Today we visited one of my plugs who gets real deadstock straight from the Italian mills that have been around for over a century. These are the same mills Prada, Dior, Givenchy, Rick Owens, Louis Vuitton and Loro Piana pull from, the places that built half of modern luxury. Access to this level of fabric is normally locked off, and the prices are usually wild. But because we buy in volume for clients, we get up to 70 percent off. My plug just got a new shipment in, and we were lucky enough to go through everything before they even started sorting and organising it. High twist wools, coated nylons, technical blends, jacquards, all the stuff brands never show you but quietly rely on. If you care about quality, this is where the gap between “nice” and “serious” really starts.

China has some of the most insane hotels, so I had to check out of Chengdu’s most popular penthouse was worth it, the city definitely lived up to my expectations but the room… you let me know if it’s worth the $280 👀

Viral products are one of the best ways for smaller brands to break through and gain traction with new audiences and we’ve just had some Thermochromic and Hydrophobic fabrics land in the studio and couldn’t help but share. Let us know if there are any fabrics you think fall into the viral category.

Building a brand as hard but building a community is even more difficult too many brands, confuse audience with community and I couldn't be further from the truth. Recently palace have done a master class on how to build real community by building a space that most brands couldn't even dream of. @palaceskateboards teaming up with Nike for Manor place is an example of what all big brands should be doing to build community.

Most brands don’t realize how important Q4 is until they’ve already missed it. It’s quite definitely one of the most important times of the year for all brands. We’re talking 30–50% of yearly revenue made in just a few weeks. But most people are still planning their Black Friday drops based on guesswork. So we put together a free Q4 planning checklist to help you actually get this right, Whether you’re doing streetwear, luxury, or lifestyle this will help. #blackfriday #q4planning #brandbuilding #fashionbusiness #ecommercetips

Chinese brands seem to be leading the culture across the board when it comes to fashion, technology and design. Not all tech needs to feel cold. I just came back from the latest Nothing launch, and it’s one of the few brands right now that actually understands how to make products feel emotional again. There’s something about that transparent design,it feels nostalgic and futuristic at the same time. But what stood out to me wasn’t just the product. It was the thinking behind it. Right now, a lot of innovation isn’t coming from where people expect. It’s happening here, in China, where speed, manufacturing, and culture are all colliding. And you can feel that energy in rooms like this. Tech is starting to feel expressive again. Less about specs, more about identity. And honestly… we needed that.

When it comes to the best experiences to have in South Africa the Franschhoek Wine tram is easily a top 5 thing to do if you manage to find yourself in Cape Town. From the views at the vineyards of Vrede En Lust to the experience at Plaisir, there are tonnes of different vineyards to choose from. To all my South African’s I know it’s not actually in Cape Town but cut your boy some slack I’m just out here showing people the beauty that SA holds. Anyway come for me in the chat and let me know what else your favorite spots in SA are!
