Maybe the life you actually want exists on the other side of not having it all figured out yet. We’re taught from a young age that you’re supposed to pick a path, stick to it, and never question it again. Like certainty is the goal. But what if not knowing is part of the process? What if changing your mind, exploring different directions, and staying open is exactly what leads you to the right opportunities? For years I thought I had to stay in one lane because that’s what I chose. But staying “certain” actually kept me stuck. The moment I allowed myself to be uncertain, things started to shift. I explored something new, followed curiosity instead of a "perfect plan", and that’s what led me into real estate investing. And it didn’t stop there - it kept unfolding. Not because I had it all figured out, but because I stayed willing to figure it out as I went. Maybe success isn’t about knowing from the start. Maybe it’s about being willing to keep changing your mind until things finally click.

Before you can build a different life, you have to stop introducing yourself through the lens of your past. But don’t underestimate how quickly God can turn things around. Years of waiting can become one moment of breakthrough. And when He does it, you may realize He wasn’t ignoring your prayers. He was preparing something bigger than you could see.
For 25 years, I stayed in the comfort zone of my $65k medical career, thinking I was making smart, ‘safe’ choices. I worked hard, showed up every day, and trusted that my steady paycheck would eventually take care of me in retirement. But then it hit me: even with 25 years of work, my salary and savings weren’t enough to fund the life I wanted once I retired. If I kept going the same way, I wouldn’t technically be broke yet, but after a few years in retirement, I would run out of money. That realization was terrifying. That ‘safe’ strategy almost ruined me - not because I was failing now, but because it wouldn’t sustain me later. It forced me to face a truth most people ignore: comfort doesn’t build wealth. Real security comes from stepping out, learning new strategies, and creating income that actually grows with you. That wake-up call led me to real estate investing and the freedom I never could have gotten by staying in my comfort zone.

Then my sons encouraged me to start investing in real estate, and that one decision changed everything. Real estate opened doors I never imagined and eventually led me to creating WREIN, where I now get to educate and empower women across the country.
