Have you heard? A Montgomery County school district says it is moving to terminate the principal of Lower Gwynedd Elementary School after he was heard making antisemitic remarks on a recording. The Wissahickon School District said Principal Philip Leddy self-reported the incident after leaving a voicemail for a parent and mistakenly believing the call had ended. During a subsequent conversation with a staff member, antisemitic comments were allegedly recorded. The staff member involved has been placed on administrative leave, with their employment status still under review. District officials said a termination hearing for Leddy is scheduled for Monday, Dec. 22.
