Been auditioning for people to accept me for most of my life… Putting myself out there on social media has unearthed some insecurities I didn’t know about and has forced me to confront them quickly. I’m actually grateful for that. Being perceived as “cool” is something I have sadly tried to pursue for a good portion of my life as opposed to caring about positive impact and my own view of myself. This journey is making me work on that and helping me realize I can’t possibly be liked by everybody, especially those who will never accept me no matter what I do.
