The USA’s most underrated road trip 🚘 @Visit the USA When Harry first put this road trip idea to me, I’ll admit I wasn’t totally convinced. But wow these southern states truly blew us away, underrated in all the best ways… From kayaking with river manatee’s and following the Delta Blues trail, to exploring quaint country towns and spotting dolphins in the Gulf. Here’s the highlights of our 2 week road trip from Miami to New Orleans: 🌺 Miami, Florida 🐊The Florida Springs (Silver Springs, Rainbow Springs, Ichtucknee Springs) 🏙️ Birmingham, Alabama 🎸 Memphis, Tennessee 🎶 Mississippi Delta (Cleveland, Rosedale & Great River Road State Park) 🌳 Jackson, Mississippi 💐 Natchez, Mississippi 🐬 Gulfport, Mississippi 🌆 New Orleans, Louisiana Which USA road trip is on your bucket list? 📌 Make sure you SAVE this for travel inspiration and send it to your road trip partner. #ad #AmericatheBeautiful #usatravel #usaroadtrip #travelguide

Finnish Lapland’s more affordable cousin👇🏼✨ 📍This is…Swedish Lapland We’ve travelled to both Finnish and Swedish Lapland and honestly, we preferred the Swedish side and here’s WHY: 🤍 It’s more affordable than Finland, we’re talking lakeside cabins for £50 a night (even in December if you book in advance). 🤍 It’s much less crowded and there’s less focus on all the ‘touristy things to do’. It feels more off the beaten path. 🤍 It’s a more authentic Arctic experience, no fancy glass igloo’s and Santa Claus villages, just real wilderness camps and Sami culture. 🤍 Abisko National Park is one of the BEST places in the world to chase the Northern Lights. 🤍 The scenery is slightly different, it’s more rugged and there’s mountains, which is what we love most. Lapland is an unforgettable experience and we highly recommend that you visit both, as they each have their own charm. 📌 Make sure you SAVE this for travel inspiration and send it to the person you’re taking with you. Yet another reason why Iceland is in fact another planet… 💭 Make sure you SAVE this for your own trip and follow for more adventures like this. This is…📍Hengifoss Iceland is home to literally thousands of waterfalls, everywhere you look you are bound to see them. BUT this has to be one of the most unique and dramatic. Details on visiting👇🏼 There is a marked trail from the car park leading you to the base of the falls. Now, whilst the view from the base is beautiful, the drama of this falls really comes alive from a little higher up. There is no marked trail to reach this ledge that you see in the video, but it’s to the left of the falls. Other than that it’s really a case of go find a route, if you really want to get to it. Be super cautious and don’t walk too close to the edge of the cliffs!! We spent over 1 hour climbing to this viewpoint and jumping over rivers along the way. But that’s all part of the adventure, trust us it’s worth it when you find it 🙌🏼 Have you visited this falls yet? #iceland #icelandtravel #icelandwaterfalls #fyp #hengifoss #icelandnature

It’s too beautiful for you not to know about it 🥹 📍This is…@Visit Lake Saimaa After recently spending some time here we can confirm that this region is SO underrated. We spent half the time wondering where all the people were, as it was just so quiet and remote (in a way, hopefully it stays like that). Lake Saimaa is the perfect place to head this autumn. It’s Finland’s largest lake and the 4th largest in Europe. With plenty of outdoor adventures at your finger tips, such as: hiking, kayaking, sauna’s and campfires. A quick guide to Lake Saimaa👇🏼 DAY 1 🛬 Fly into Helsinki and drive 4 hours to Punkaharju. 🏩 Stay at Kruunupuisto overnight and enjoy their private sauna experience on the lakeside. DAY 2 🚘 Drive 50 minutes north to Oravi Village. 🌲 Take a boat transfer to Linnansaari National Park. Spend the day hiking the loop track on the island. 🔥 Pack a lunch and make a campfire whilst you’re out there. 🪵 Check into Kanava Resort and enjoy this stunning cabin with personal sauna. DAY 3 🚘 Drive 45 minutes towards Kolovesi National Park. 🛶 Rent kayaks from Oravi Village in Kolovesi and explore the stunning waterways of this park. 🔥 Don’t forget to pack another lunch to make on the campfire. 🥘 Back to your cabin to enjoy some food made by DAY 4 🚘 Drive 1 hour to Varkaus 🍂 Walk around Ammakoski, enjoy the rapids and the beautiful colours of the forest. 🍔 Lunch at Harris Food Factory. 🛫 Drive 3 hours back to Helsinki. Switzerland is calling…🇨🇭🎄✨ ad |📍Welcome to…Lucerne Last week we spent 3 days exploring @Lucerne / Luzern and the surrounding area, and totally fell in love with it. December is such a magical time to visit with Christmas in full swing, plus we finally found snow! ❄️ What to do this time of year👇🏼 🎄Visit the Christmas markets, we recommend Eiszauber and Lozärner Wiehnachtsmärt. ⛸️ Go ice skating alongside Lake Lucerne at Eiszauber. ✨ Wander the old town, stopping at Chapel Bridge, Jesuit Church, and many beautiful squares. 🏔️ Take a day trip to Mount Rigi for insane alpine views and a scenic boat ride across Lake Lucerne. 🧀 Try Fondue or Raclette, you can get it in most Swiss restaurants. 🍷 Drink Glühwein to your hearts content. and we bet you’ve never heard of it…🤯 📌 Make sure you SAVE this for travel inspiration and follow for more. Welcome to…Lake Saimaa, Finland 🇫🇮 In the eastern corner of Finland you’ll find the stunning Lake Saimaa, Europe’s 4th largest freshwater lake and an ultimate adventure destination for nature lovers because: 🦭It’s home to the Saimaa Ringed Seal, one of the world’s rarest and endangered sub species that became isolated from other seals during the last ice age. 💦 It’s the ‘lake of a thousand lakes’, as instead of one large body of water, Saimaa is a system of vast and interconnected lakes, channels, islands and straights. It’s a remote wilderness perfect for endless exploration. 🪨 Saimaa has a shoreline measuring approximately 14,850km (which is longer than France), with a unique landscape of craggy shores, sandy beaches and ridges formed via glacial activity. 🛶 There are year-round activities to enjoy such as ice skating, skiing and snowshoeing in the winter and hiking, swimming and kayaking in the summer/autumn. 🍂 Saimaa has been woven into Finnish folklore, music and poetry as a symbol of natural beauty and tranquility. Locals often call it ‘the heart of Finnish Lakeland’. Autumn/Winter is the perfect time to explore the Baltics. It’ll be much quieter, and if you’re travelling around in December, then the Christmas markets here are magical. This is without a doubt the most underrated and affordable corner of Europe. We spent only £500 in 9 days, including food and accommodation, which was solely Airbnb’s. We interrailed through the region, in recent years the rail network has been improved meaning it’s even easier to travel through the Baltics via train 🚞 9-10 days is an ideal amount of time to spend here, the three capitals of the Baltics are small and easily explored in a few days. But also allow for a day here and there to explore outside of the cities 🫶🏼 Have you considered visiting this region? #balticstates #europetravel #underrateddestinations #latvia #lithuania #estonia #fyp #travelcouple

We’ve just spent 4 days in Finland’s Lake Saimaa. If you’re searching for a quiet retreat into nature this autumn, then this place is your answer! Tucked away in the eastern corner of the country, this region is well and truly a nature lovers paradise. From exploring remote national parks (where we saw no one else, might we add) to staying in a cosy cabin on the water, this region has so many reasons to be on your Europe bucket list 🫶🏼 HOW TO GET HERE 🛬 🚘 Fly into Helsinki and either rent a car and drive 4 hours to the Lake Saimaa region. Or you could catch a domestic flight from Helsinki into Savonlinna and then pick up a car there instead. PLACES NOT TO MISS 🌲 Linnansaari National Park 🛶 Kolovesi National Park 🪵 Oravi Village and a stay at Kanava Resort 🍂 Savonlinna & Varkaus for history HOW LONG TO SPEND HERE 📆 A minimum of 4 days to enjoy yourself and account for travel times. Whilst Finnish Lapland is without a doubt the most popular choice, we actually preferred Swedish Lapland for its raw and authentic feel. It was much quieter and more affordable, which suited us better. Here’s everything you should do in each spot👇🏼 🎅🏻 Rovaniemi - Santa Claus Village, Arctos Lapland Experience, Ounasvaara Nature Reserve, Sledging. 🚢 Kemi - Polar Icebreaker, Kiikeli Nature Reserve (walk on frozen ocean). ❄️ Kiruna - Stay on a wilderness camp, Husky Sledding, Snowmobiling, Lake Sauna, Sami Village, Ice Hotel, Cross Country Skiing. ✨ Abisko National Park - Hiking, frozen waterfalls and chasing the northern lights (it’s one of the best place in the world to see them)!! HOW TO REACH LAPLAND ✈️ From the UK you can fly directly to Rovaniemi and then navigate via train or rental car from there. 🚞 There are no direct flights to Kiruna from the UK. But you can fly into Stockholm then onto Kiruna. Or take the overnight train to Stockholm. #lapland #laplandtravel #swedishlapland #laplandfinland #fyp #winteradventure #arcticcircle #nordics #travelguide

This area was once the least wooded part of the country, but after years of efforts, nature is now taking a hold again. The National Forest boasts over 200 square miles of woodland, and you’ll find @Hoar Cross Hall Hotel right in the middle of it. A beautiful hotel and spa for an idyllic stay in the English countryside. Here’s how to spend your time in this part of the National Forest 👇🏼 🌳 Stroll through the manicured gardens and grounds of the estate, taking in the countryside views. 🧖🏼‍♀️ Soak and unwind in the beautiful spa. 🌲 Take a hike at the nearby Jackson’s Bank or Hoar Cross Deer Park. 🏹 Get stuck into the activities on offer at Hoar Cross Hall, such as Archery, Axe throwing or Yoga. 👑 Explore the inside of the estate and feel as though you’ve stepped back in time. 🚘 The easiest way to reach the National Forest is by driving. Send this to who you’d want to wake up here with 🥹 📌 Make sure you SAVE this to remind you to take a road trip around Iceland. This is what van life in Iceland looks like!! There is no better way to explore the country than by renting your own camper van and taking off, with the freedom to stop wherever you please. On this morning we parked up on Stokksnes Beach at 5am, after waiting out the bad weather overnight. Only to be greeted by stunning clear blue skies the and the beach all to ourselves for a couple of hours. ✨ A morning we’ll never forget ✨ ‼️fyi it’s prohibited to camp on Stokksnes beach itself. There is a paid campground at the top of the beach road called ‘Vestrahorn Campground’ which is where we slept and then moved here in the morning. They have facilities and it costs 2,800 ISK per person (£17/$23). Have you tried van life yet? #iceland #icelandroadtrip #vanlife #adventuretravel #travelcouple #fyp

Escape to here when London gets too much… 📍This is…the Norfolk Broads Britain’s largest wetland, home to some of the country’s most rarest wildlife and over 200km of navigable waterways to explore. It’s one of our favourite corners of the UK! We’ve just spent a weekend with friends cruising down the Broads on a boat rented from Barnes Brinkcraft, It’s the absolute best way to explore this area and is so much fun with a group of you! Everything you need to know for your visit👇🏼 🚘 🚆the Broads are around a 2.5 hour drive from London. Alternatively, you could take the train to Wroxham, which will take approx 3 hours. 🛥️ You don’t need a boat license or prior experience to rent a boat. You’ll be given a short lesson before setting off, it’s very easy! ⚓️ Moorings on the Broads are either paid or free, check the signs before mooring up. 📆 A weekend is the ideal amount of time to explore the Broads, but you could definitely extend to a week. 🍃 Along the Broads there’s plenty to do such as: nature reserves, country walks and pubs to enjoy. 💰 Boat rental starts from £140 per night (in the low season) in the summer, prices will be higher. We visited in October and the weather was still fab. Will you be adding the Broads to your UK bucket list? #norfolkbroads #uktravel #ukadventure #boatingadventures #norfolk

this >> netflix everytime Sometimes all you need is a little nature to feel grounded again. That’s exactly what Finland does for us every time we visit. There’s no other country that manages to take us back to being ‘one with nature’ quite like Finland does. When we’re out there in the wilderness, all the noise just fades away. We’ve explored a lot of Finland over the last few years, but @Visit Lake Saimaa may be our new favourite corner, especially during autumn 🧡 📍Lake Saimaa, Finland Which would you choose nature or Netflix? #finland #finlandtravel #lakesaimaa #naturelover #fyp #travelcouple #travelinspo

Send this to the person you’re taking with you 🍂🤎 📌 and don’t forget to SAVE this for travel inspiration. The Cotswolds is one of England’s area’s of outstanding natural beauty, and it’s easy to see why it’s been given that title. With villages lined by chocolate box houses and the rolling hill of the English countryside. It’s truly what fairytales are made of. Autumn is the perfect time to visit and here’s why👇🏼 🥾There are still plenty of country walks to enjoy. Just make sure to wrap up warm. Consider walking trousers, a cosy jumper and a waterproof jacket. We’ve recently been obsessed with @Craghoppers autumnal range, they have us covered for all our outdoor adventures. 🍂 The foliage is beautiful, giving the area a truly mysterious feeling, especially with the mist rolling over the hills in the morning. 😊 It’s a much quieter time to visit, after the summer rush but just before the festive season. You’ll likely have less crowds. 🍺 It’s the perfect time of year to enjoy a proper English pub experience, sat by a fire and maybe with a Sunday Lunch. The Cotswolds is home to many beautiful pubs.
