The Biz Takeaway: We pay premium for speed, but MORE for slow. @Zegna’s stated goal is the opposite of every co we cover: “Be slowest brand in the world.” In tech, it’s all move fast break things. So is fashion & Lux.  A big part of Z’s biz? Made-to-Measure (Custom suits still key for profit — each 1 takes 3 wks).  It’s the only pub co we know w/ huge tailoring biz. And it’s the opposite of instant gratification. Time is the ultimate luxury.
