My coping mechanism now has a marathon bib 🤭 I’ve mentioned before that I’ve been struggling with my racing ‘why’ lately. I’ve been missing that spark that made racing feel exciting in the first place and the sense of accomplishment you get from putting yourself in a position that’s maybe even a bit scary. So when Runvan asked if I wanted to shake things up, how could I resist! And so this October Alex and I are heading to Japan to run the Yokohama Marathon!!!! And would you believe that the Yokohama Marathon and the Vancouver Marathon are actually sister races which feels so fitting since the Vancouver Marathon was where I fell in love with running in the first place.
