#ad If you’re going to Costa Rica, the Andaz Peninsula Papagayo in The Hotel Collection by @americanexpress is a must-stay. The jungle-meets-ocean vibes, the insanely beautiful infinity pools, the beach club, the dining options, the wildlife… we loved every minute of our stay. And because we booked with our Amex Platinum Card through Amex Travel, the stay came with extra value — like a $100 on-property credit for eligible charges and late checkout, which was available. It’s one of my favorite ways to make a trip feel even more elevated without doing anything extra. #AmexAmbassador

#ad We couldn’t get over the brand-new Waldorf Astoria Punta Cacique, Costa Rica. Our suite, the beach, the multi-level pools, and the spa were exactly the reset we needed. You know I'm ALL about maximizing travel, so of course I booked our stay through Amex Travel with our @americanexpress Platinum Card. As part of the Amex Fine Hotels + Resorts program, we got perks like: • Breakfast for two • $100 credit to use on-property for eligible charges • Guaranteed 4PM check-out • Noon check-in + room upgrade, because both were available Plus, you can get up to $300 back in statement credits (semi-annually) on prepaid bookings through Amex Travel at Fine Hotels + Resorts when you pay with your Platinum Card. For me, it doesn't get better than this! #AmexAmbassador

#ad we woke up wishing we were in Europe, so we drove to Solvang instead. this adorable Danish-founded town just two hours north of LA gave us the perfect European escape without needing to fly across the Atlantic. but the real MVP of our weekend was the gorgeous boutique property we picked as our base: the Inn at Mattei’s Tavern, an @American Express Fine Hotels + Resorts® property in charming Los Olivos, just 15 minutes from Solvang. the property makes you feel like you’re in some European countryside destination! the spacious rooms, the attention to detail, the olive oil infusion class, the food… everything was great. and because we booked it through on Amex Travel using our Platinum Card, we enjoyed amazing benefits like complimentary breakfast for two and guaranteed 4pm check-out, so Sunday could be a relaxing day instead of early morning packing. #AmexAmbassador Terms Apply. Experiencing the Apartment on Etihad’s A380 was one of the most exciting bucket list items I checked off in 2025 – along with Emirates’ Game Changer first class suite, of course! For 2026, my biggest ones are Etihad’s Residence, Singapore Suites on the A380, Air France La Premier and the new JAL first class suites on the A350! Also, I’m SO excited for the unveiling of Singapore Airlines new long-haul cabins and the new British Airways retrofitted A380 planes that start flying in 2026! 🤩 Anyone else’s bucket list looks like mine?

If you’re heading to Seoul, add skin treatments AND a full-body health check to your list. Trust me on this one. We had a great experience booking a health check up at Hanshinmedipia with Himedi, a medical concierge that handles the whole thing for you in English, from choosing the right check-up package to scheduling and translating everything on the day if necessary. It doesn’t cost anything extra to book through them, which is the best part.

the best carbonara pasta in Rome 🍝 carbonara has always been my favorite pasta. I grew up with my mom cooking that for me. so on my last visit to Rome, I went on a mission to find the best carbonara pasta. I spent countless hours reading reviews online, and asking for recommendations from food experts and locals. then I narrowed down the list to the ones that were coming up most often on recommendations, and decided to try them all in just a couple of days: 🍝 Osteria Fortunata 🍝 Armando Al Pantheon 🍝 Trattoria Vecchia Roma 🍝 Roscioli Salumeria con Cucina watch the video to find out what my ratings were & save this video for your next trip to Rome!

welcome to the most luxurious first class cabin and one of the memorable flights I have ever taken: Emirates Game Changer Suite. ...and I only paid €391 + 36K points, a STEAL! Sadly, Emirates has significantly limited the ways to book first class with points, BUT it’s possible. Ps: I flew this cabin last year!

Tucked away in a quiet and peaceful corner of Mallorca, far from crowds, this place is something special. It’s one of those historical, character-filled agritourism hotels—thick stone walls that keep the rooms cool, beautiful courtyards filled with bougainvillea, and hidden paths winding through olive and lemon groves. It’s the kind of place where you start your day with long, lazy breakfasts with a view to die for, and then somehow, those hours by the pool just… disappear. Maybe it’s the sun, or the sangria, or just that island time feeling. Although this Spanish Finca turned into an agritourism property feels remote, it’s perfectly located right in the middle of ALL my absolute favorite spots in Mallorca. Deia, Valdemossa, Soller, Ca Salobra, Fornalutx, and even Palma are all a very short drive away. Ca’s Xorc strikes the perfect balance between a laid-back vibe and a luxury property. It doesn’t have a million amenities or an army of staff buzzing around, but it has a soul. It’s Mallorca at its most authentic and charming. If you’re like me and sometimes crave that feeling of truly getting away—not just from home but from the rush—this might just be the place for you.

an absolute fairytale 🥹 and only 2h away from London! I will warn you though: Castle Combe is TINY and far away from most of the other villages in the Cotswolds. You can see it in half an hour or less! I don’t recommend going for a day trip from London because you’ll spend more time driving than enjoying the town. Instead, stay at the dreamy Manor House for a night! The hotel grounds are absolutely beautiful and it’s such a treat to stay there. Definitely a 10/10! Another tip is to combine a visit to Castle Combe with Lacock — a village just 15 minutes away. It’s really charming and a must for Harry Potter fans. So many scenes from the movies were filmed there, including the hallways of Hogwarts!

if you’re going to Croatia, add this lush green island to your itinerary! ⬇️ Mljet wasn’t on our initial plans, but our skipper strongly recommended it. I’m so glad we took his recommendation and added a day there. With two turquoise saltwater lakes and a Monastery on a tiny island within the island, Mjlet National Park is an absolute gem. I highly recommend renting an e-bike to explore the park, and going for a swim at the lakes. There are also beautiful blue caves, hidden turquoise coves, wonderful beaches, and if you get lucky, you may see dolphins like we did! Have you ever heard of Mljet before? Did I convince you to add it to your bucket list?

Hello, I’m Catarina! 👋 It’s been a while since I (re)introduced myself. I’m a Brazilian expat turned American citizen, living in California with my husband and our 10-month-old, Louie. Back in 2016 I found myself deeply unhappy with my ‘perfect life on paper’. I landed a fancy job at Google right after college but was craving freedom, passion, and a feeling of purpose. The 9-to-5 job, 3 weeks off a year, living-for-the-weekends life felt absolutely miserable to me. I was also drowning in $120k student loan debt, living paycheck to paycheck, with no safety net. I was the sole earner while my husband was in grad school, and we had no family or friends here. I felt isolated and trapped, climbing a corporate ladder I wanted nothing to do with. So, 9 years ago, I decided to change my life. To stop making excuses and go for it. I kept hearing “it’s too late” to start. But my biggest battle was’t with the algorithm, it was with myself. I was deeply self-conscious, ashamed of my accent, terrified of speaking English publicly, and afraid of the camera. I was scared, but I pushed past my fears. Fast forward to today: I’ve traveled to 70 countries, earn 10x my old corporate salary a year, have retired my husband from the corporate world (he’s my business partner now!), and have helped over 7k students launch their own creator careers through my program, the Influencer Mastercourse. Sometimes I can’t believe I’m actually living the life that felt like a far-fetched dream all those years ago. It’s hard to see the progress you’re making from one day to the next, but if you keep taking tiny actions day in and day out, you’ll look back 9 years later like I do now and see how far you’ve come. I hope my story proves that you don’t need to be ‘special’ to achieve your dreams. I know you think it’s too late for you. But whatever your dream is, trust me, it’s not too late. You got this. 💪 Ps: If you want to turn your passions into a creator career, too, join me for my next free workshop through the link in my bio.

This is the Emirates first class cabin onboard the Airbus A380. All that for $838 + points. Yup ☺️ that’s less in cash than an economy ticket in that same flight. Ps: I flew this cabin 2 years ago and I’ll soon post a review of the newer first class cabin, known as the Game Changer, on the 777. It’s a beauty 🤩
