Last week in New York City, my son Oakley and I did our first live event together. It was incredible to be on stage with him. Thank you to @Verizon for inviting us to share 5 tips to better phone life balance for you and your entire family. In fact – it’s amazing how much you can learn from your kids when you stop yelling at them to get off their phones, and get curious about how they are using them in their lives. I learned a lot from what Oakley shared about the reality of how kids are using their phones. One thing he told me? That a lot of teens feel conflicted about how much time they spend on their phones, and how they want better phone life balance. But they don’t know how. Here’s the truth: if you want your kids to have better phone habits, it starts with you. You have to practice them first. One of those habits for me: when you are in person, do not have your phone on your person. Your phone is an incredible tool for connection, but you should use it when you’re not with people. When you’re spending time with people you care about, put the phone away and be in the moment. Want to hear all my tips? Head to verizon.com/tech-balance to watch the full talk and download a checklist of the 5 tips. #VerizonPartner

Last night in New York City, my son and I did our first live event together. It was incredible. Thank you to everyone who came out, and thank you to @Verizon for inviting Oakley and me to share 5 tips to better phone life balance for you and your entire family. I learned a lot from what Oakley shared about the reality of how kids are using their phones, and the fact that it starts with us parents. If you want your kids to have better phone habits, you have to be the one to practice them first. I used to be the kind of person who used work as an excuse for why I was always on my phone. And when I finally put my phone down, and saw everyone else was still on theirs, I would yell at my family for not being present on my schedule! Here's the truth – if you want your kids to have better phone habits, you have to be the one to practice them first. One of my favorite boundaries? No phones at the table – which is something my family has lived by for a decade, and you can start practicing today. Learning as a family about how to be more intentional in using our phones has led to better connection, balance, and sleep. I want to thank Verizon for having me share my top 5 tips on building healthy phone habits and putting on this event to educate parents. Want to hear all my tips? This is the clip you didn’t know you needed… but believe me, you do. 💩 Harvard gastroenterologist Dr. Trisha Pasricha breaks down what your poop is telling you - using clay “samples” made by my team that are, in my opinion, WAY too accurate. 😂 The bottom (no pun intended) line: A range can be normal. But if you’re always on the extremes - your gut is asking for help. In the latest episode of @themelrobbinspodcast, Dr. Trisha Pasricha will change the way you think about digestion, gut health, and yes, even poop. It’s the ultimate no shame conversation that will help you finally understand how to listen to your gut. 🎧 “The Gut Health Episode: Harvard Doctor Reveals What’s Normal (and What’s Not)” Tune in on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or YouTube — search “The Mel Robbins Podcast Gut Health” #melrobbins #melrobbinspodcast #guthealth

When @drgabormate told me this, it stopped me in my tracks… Siblings may grow up in the same house, but that doesn’t mean their childhoods were the same. Not even close. Same parents? Nope. Same family? Nope. Same childhood? Absolutely not. Parents show up differently for each child depending on the season of their life, their relationship, and even their financial situation. It’s not about who is loved more. It’s about how that love is expressed - and how each child experiences it. If you’ve ever wondered why you and your siblings remember childhood so differently - this is why. I had never heard anyone explain how to manifest like this before… I just learned of the passing of renowned neurosurgeon and neuroscientist, Dr. Jim Doty, who had a profound impact on my life. Dr. Doty taught me how to tap into the unseen possibilities and greater forces of life using neuroscience and the scientific approach to manifesting. When Dr. Doty appeared on the podcast in late 2024, he taught us all how to use manifestation, neuroscience, and magic to unlock the power of your brain, your heart, and your deepest purpose in life. That episode went on to become one of our most popular of all time, including becoming our most viewed episode on YouTube ever. It is one of the most shared, listened to, and beloved episodes of all time. It is my honor to re-release that episode again with a new opening that I just recorded 🎧 "#1 Neurosurgeon: How to Manifest Anything You Want & Unlock the Unlimited Power of Your Mind (In Memory of Dr. Jim Doty)" I cannot wait for you to experience the magic for yourself. I hope you will not only listen to this episode but that you will also share it so Dr. Doty's wisdom, magic, and legacy lives on through us all. #melrobbins #melrobbinspodcast #manifestation #visualization

You want to know why you’re so tired, overwhelmed, and stressed out? It’s not just your schedule. It’s the fact that all day long, you’re giving your power away. To other people’s opinions. To their bad moods. To the drama. To wishing things would go differently. When you start using Let Them in the small, everyday moments—like standing in a long line at the grocery store—you’ll be shocked at how much energy you get back. This sounds dumb… but it’s one of the most effective ways to stop overthinking. Behavioral researcher and confidence expert Dr. Shadé Zahrai, says you need to set 10-15 minutes of “worry time.” @Dr. Shadé Zahrai shares that overthinking is your brain’s attempt to create certainty when you feel out of control. It’s not a personality flaw - it’s a survival strategy. But telling yourself to “just stop worrying” doesn’t work. Setting up “worry time” sounds silly but it works!! It shrinks the fear, calms the threat centers in your brain, and helps you see what’s actually in your control. In this episode of The Mel Robbins Podcast, Dr. Zahrai is teaching you a research-backed, four-part framework for building unshakeable confidence. You’ll learn how to stop overthinking everything, how to finally beat self-doubt, and the practical tools you need to stop negative thoughts from running your life. 🎧 “How to Eliminate Self-Doubt Forever & Build Unshakeable Confidence” Listen now on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or YouTube - search “Mel Robbins Podcast Self Doubt”

If your mom was constantly criticizing you when you were little, the impact didn’t end in childhood. Kelly McDaniel is a renowned psychotherapist and bestselling author whose work helped millions understand how early relationships can impact your nervous system, your identity, and your thoughts and behaviors as an adult. Kelly explains that when your caregiver is consistently critical, unavailable, or unkind, your brain adapts to survive. You learn to chase approval, monitor others’ emotions, and stay hyper‑aware because your attachment system is wired to seek connection at all costs. You have been asking for more specific advice about money and what to do when you get paid. So I brought on one of the top financial experts in the world, 10‑time New York Times bestselling author David Bach, to teach you and the people you love about a powerful strategy for saving money, called compound interest. Einstein called compound interest “the 8th wonder of the world.” David wants to teach you, no matter how much money you have to save, to start tapping into the power of it. This is insane: @DavidBach says, if you invest $27.40 a day into a low cost index fund and let it compound for 40 years at the rate the markets have been averaging, which has historically been an average of 10%, you'd have $4,424,000 at the end. And he says, whether you can invest $27 or $1 per day, you can take advantage of this – you just need to know how. That’s why David joined me on this episode of The Mel Robbins Podcast to explain how small, automatic daily habits can turn into millions over time. After listening to this episode, where you’ll learn David and 3 other top money experts, you’ll walk away with a clear plan to make better financial decisions starting today. 🎧 “The Best Money Advice You Will Ever Receive: 4 Rules From the Top Financial Minds In The World” Tune in now on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or YouTube - search “The Mel Robbins Podcast Money.” #melrobbins #melrobbinspodcast #money #finance
