Send this to your adventure buddy and make sure to follow @megsandpat for more bucket list and unique experiences 🐠 Bora Bora is not all glam and beaches they have tons of cool stuff to do like this Aqua Safari. If you have ever wondered what being an astronaut or a 19th century diver feels like this excursion is for you. They put this dive helmet on you and then fill it with pressurized air as they lower you into the water so you can breath normally. Because the helmet is air filled its kind of floaty so you end up being lighter and able to jump around like its space. I know it looks funny but the views were amazing! Bora Bora's water is so clear its incredible. We booked this excirsion with @WindstarCruises and if you have never scuba dived this is a great way to see what your missing! check out that rays!!! 🐟💙 #AquaSafari @windstarcruises

Save these Non-hiking views in Iceland 🇮🇸 You don’t have to hike for hours to see some of Iceland’s most jaw-dropping scenery. Here are a few spots you can reach with little to no walking 👇 ✨ Fjaðrárgljúfur Canyon A short walk from the parking lot takes you to one of the most photogenic canyons in Iceland. The emerald green cliffs look straight out of a fantasy movie it’s no wonder this spot went viral after being featured by Justin Bieber. 💦 Goðafoss This waterfall reminded me of a mini Niagara Falls. Only a 2-minute walk from the parking lot makes it one of the easiest stops to see along the Ring Road. 🌸 Skógafoss Right off the main road, this waterfall is a must-see. Climb the stairs to the top for an epic view and to explore the trails above. If you’re visiting in June or July, follow the river towards the fields of purple lupins for that dreamy Icelandic shot. 🌈 Seljalandsfoss One of the few waterfalls you can actually walk behind! It’s a short and easy path, just be ready to get a little misted. Come at sunset for the warm glow through the water. 🏞️ Valley of Tears A hidden gem of multiple waterfalls tucked between mossy mountains and towering cliffs. The drive in alone feels like a scene from another planet 🖤 Diamond Beach Where black sand meets glittering ice. The chunks of glacier wash up on shore, sparkling like diamonds under the light. You can walk straight from the parking lot. 🌋 Víti Crater (Askja or Krafla) An otherworldly geothermal crater filled with milky blue water. It’s a quick stop from the parking area and is one of the most beautiful craters in Iceland

This is the Northern Lights Wolf Centre, one of the only places in Canada where you can take a real life wolf for a walk. It was terrifying but was one of those experiences that left us speechless. We do have a full guide on the Canadian Rockies linked in our bio for both summer and winter with experiences like this in it too! 🐺 How to Visit This conservation facility is right outside of Golden, BC in the Canadian Rockies. You can go to the facility and see the wolves, but if you want to walk with a wolf you have to book ahead! The wolf walk is called Blackwolf Photography Walk when booking! All reservations are at 9:00am and you have to book ahead with @northernlightswolfcentre. You can do a small group or a private tour. We went with a group of 6 and it was totally fine. It is open all year round! The walk is about 2kms for an hour and a half, as there are a lot of stops along the way. There are always qualified wolf guides on the walk with you!

8 Day Bucket List Jordan Itinerary 🇯🇴✨ We just came to Jordan with @Visit Jordan and this will now be our third time this country! This is exactly what we would do for our first trip! You’ll most likely be starting your trip in Amman, Jordan’s capital usually has the cheapest flights, and it’s the perfect hub to rent a car or meet your guide. You can also do this itinerary in reverse from Aqaba ✈️ Day 1 — Petra Start in Amman and transfer to Petra. Walk the Siq and see the Treasury in the afternoon light ✨ Stay in Wadi Musa so you can explore early the next morning, don’t miss the Monastery! Day 2 — Wadi Rum Drive to Wadi Rum and stay at one of the iconic bubble camps. The Martian (and tons of other movies) were filmed here! Take a sunset jeep tour it truly feels like another planet 🚀🌕 Day 3 — Aqaba Head to Aqaba for a snorkel or dive trip 🌊 The Red Sea’s coral is unreal and definitely worth the stop. Day 4 — Kerak & Ma’in Hot Springs Drive north to explore Kerak Castle before soaking in the hot waterfall springs of Ma’in one of the most unique hot springs we’ve ever been to ♨️ Day 5 — Dead Sea & Salt Visit the Dead Sea Panoramic Complex for some of the best views in Jordan. The lunch here is amazing! Then continue to the historic city of Salt. Day 6 — Salt → Amman Spend the morning walking Salt’s old town, markets, and viewpoints 🌿 After lunch, head back to Amman. Day 7 — Amman Explore the highlights of Jordan’s capital — vibrant markets, the impressive Roman Theatre, and the hilltop Citadel for sunset 🌅 Day 8 fly home If you have extra time, add Madaba or the ruins of Jerash. You can also add on the Jordan Trail if you are looking to hike!

Send this to the person you want to watch sunrise here with 🌄 ☀️ This is one of the best sunrise spots in the world and it is called Mesa Arch in Canyonlands National Park 🏞️ Perched right on the edge of a cliff, this natural sandstone arch perfectly frames the canyons and the La Sal Mountains in the distance. When the first light hits, the bottom of the arch glows a deep orange, lighting up the whole scene like fire. 🔥 🥾 Hike Stats: • Distance: 0.7 miles (1.1 km) round trip • Duration: ~20 minutes • Elevation Gain: ~30 ft (10 m) • Difficulty: Easy 📍 Location: Island in the Sky District, Canyonlands National Park, Utah 🕓 Best time: Sunrise- arrive early for a front-row view 💡 Tip: Bring a tripod if you’re shooting photos, and take a few minutes after sunrise to enjoy the quiet once the crowd thins out.

Save this Jordan Itinerary Visiting Petra has been on my bucket list forever, and I was so happy when we finally travelled to Jordan. I had low expectations for the country, but I was honestly blown away by the people, the history and the incredible landscapes. Tips on Travel - 🚘 Rent a car! - If you can, try to rent a car when you are in Jordan! You will not regret it. Car rentals are super cheap, about $25 a day, and it gives you so much flexibility. Jordan does not have great public transportation and cabs are super expensive. 💰 Visa - Make sure to buy the Jordan Pass prior to going to Jordan. The Pass includes your visa, Petra, Wadi Rum entrance, and like 45 other sites. The visa to Jordan on its own is really expensive and the pass is only a fraction more. If you have 7 days follow this itinerary. If you have less I would maybe skip Amman if you go in the country through Aqaba. You could also add days by hanging out in Aqaba, which is a diving and snorkelling location. 8 Day Itinerary 🇯🇴 🇯🇴 🇯🇴 - 2 days Petra - 2 days Wadi Rum - 1 Day Aqaba - 1 day Main Hot Spring - [ ] 1 day as-Salt - [ ] 1 day Amman I 100% recommend staying in Wadi Rum for the night and getting a 2 day Petra entry. Both are amazing and totally worth the extra cost! @Visit Jordan #jordan #travel

Save my Mini Guide to Myra Falls and follow @megsandpat for our Vancouver Island Series. This is Part 3 of our Bucket List spots on the island! We both grew up on the island, and are still so amazed with all there is to do! Myra Falls 💦 The Myra falls hike is an easy 10-15 minute walk (one-way). There are trails that take you to the top and the bottom of Lower Myra Falls. Most people just stop at the main falls, but going down to Buttle Lake and looking at the falls is super pretty 🥾 You can also hike to Myra Falls. The hike to upper Myra Falls is longer and not as spectacular in comparison to lower falls but is takes you through a beautiful old growth path. This hike takes about 2-3 hours and is 7.4 kilometers round trip hike with about 280 meter of elevation gain. I would recommend doing both if you have the time! 🏊🏼 Swimming Myra Falls is a great place to swim in the summer. We just went early June and the waterfall and current was way too strong. However, we have been in August in the past and the water is very calm and it is a perfect swimming spot! There is a trade off as the waterfall in winter and spring is of course way stronger then summer! Photography We think the best time to photograph the waterfall is around 9-10am and sunset. If you get there too early the waterfall is quite shadowed. Directions Myra Falls is located in Stratchcona Provincial Park at the centre of Vancouver Island. There are multiple accesses to Strathcona, but only the access from Gold River Highway (BC-28 W) will take you there! To see the falls, you will have to drive to the very south east corner of Buttle Lake. It is about a 3-hour drive from Nanaimo.

I don’t know if people know that a lot of the famous spots in the Rockies are not hikes. Thet are accessible to everyone.

The last location is our favourite!! We just spent 10 days in Switzerland and it was so fun making this transition video. This was our first time using the bullet time feature on the @Insta360 and I highly recommend trying it on your next trip. Tutorial ⬇️ 👉 You’ll need an Insta360 X4 and the Bullet Time Handle. 👉 Switch your camera to Bullet Time Mode, then spin the handle around you in different locations to capture your shots. 👉 Open the Insta360 app and head to Shot Lab.
