🇯🇵 We needed a few days to really process what just happened.
Playing together again after a while, and doing it for the first time ever in Asia, made this Tokyo show something we’ll carry with us for a long time.
Thank you for all the messages and love; reading them once everything settled meant a lot. One moment, in particular, will stay with us. Performing “Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence” in Tokyo was already emotional on its own, but realizing afterwards that it resonated so deeply even being shared by Miu Sakamoto, Ryuichi Sakamoto’s daughter, someone who carries such an extraordinary musical heritage reminded us why we do this.
When music travels back to the people and places that protect its soul, it gives everything a deeper meaning.
